‘McCoy and Cordon allegedly have been quarreling in recent months, and McCoy has been trying to get Cordon out of the Milton, Ga., home where she was staying.’
Report: McCoy to report to training camp
‘There was some question as to whether or not McCoy would be at training camp on time for the Bills as he is a possible subject of an investigation of a targeted home invasion involving his former ex-girlfriend at a house he owns in Georgia. McCoy was in Florida at the time of the home invasion, but there were some thoughts that the NFL might put McCoy on the commissioner’s exempt list while the league’s investigation continues. The Bills have also said they are looking into the matter.’
Report: Bills work out tight end Clay Harbor
‘Harbor is 31-years old. He’s played 98 games in the NFL over the course of seven seasons. Harbor has been a depth guy throughout his career, never eclipsing 300 yards or two touchdowns in a single year. He played the first three seasons of his career with the Philadelphia Eagles. After that, he spent time with the Jaguars, Lions and Patriots. Harbor was at training camp with the Saints last year, but was placed on IR before the regular season.’
Countdown to Bills Camp: The Offensive Line
‘The offensive line may have some issues and have a dip in play without Wood, Incognito and Glenn, but don’t expect a line with holes that will give up sacks like it’s going out of style.’
Report: Bills workout Bachelorette star, tight end Clay Harbor
‘Harbor was a fourth round selection by the Eagles in the 2010 draft and was with the Saints last season, although he spent the season on injured reserve.’
Training Camp Preview: WR & TE
‘”He’s a difficult matchup because he does have size, strength, obviously the length, among other areas that he brings to the table,” Bills head coach Sean McDermott said. “It’s a matchup concern for defenses, it’s a matchup concern for defensive coordinators and one that we need to use wisely on our side.”‘
Thurman Thomas comments on LeSean McCoy situation
‘”I know that’s going to be a big question for him once he gets here, it’s probably a big question for Sean McDermott, and a lot of the players are going to have to answer,” Thomas said. “But up to this point we don’t know anything.”‘
Report: McCoy will be at camp as usual
‘The only caveat from Rapoport: “Unless his status changes with the league”, McCoy will be just another player in blue and white at Fisher.’
Camp Countdown: No. 4 – Can the run defense finish in the top 10?
‘“That three-game stint is what probably, really knocked us down,” said Alexander. “[We need to] try and eliminate games like that to where they don’t build up. Maybe you have one in the season versus having three or four. That’s really our goal, and it should be easier this year because we don’t have everybody learning a new scheme; we have a good core group of guys that’ll help bring the new guys in, get them indoctrinated to the culture that Sean is building here and the team is building, as well as the scheme.”’
Bills quarterback Nathan Peterman puts 5-interception game behind him in quest to start
‘“I’m confident that he is wired the right way and he’ll learn from the moments both high and low that did or didn’t go his way,” coach Sean McDermott said. “He’s an extremely confident young man and a guy that works hard. Sometimes as a rookie, in this case as a rookie quarterback, you’re thrust in a situation where everyone sees your body of work. I know his second year will be better than his first year. I thought he did some really good things his first year. When you look at the DNA, he’s a fit for us in that regard.”’
What Ben Roethlisberger thought of Buffalo Bills QB Josh Allen drawing comparisons to him
‘”Oh, really? You’re going to compare me to a 22-year-old kid, huh?,” Roethlisberger said in a text.’
“Smart and resilient” Peterman will battle for Bills starting QB job
‘“Nathan’s….super smart,” Beane said. “He’s not going to tell you how good he is or how smart he is. He’s just, he’s Steady-Eddie every day and you love how he approaches the game. I know Sean’s been there more than me, but even I’ve stopped in there a couple times when (offensive coordinator Brian) Daboll’s had those guys in there and they’re writing stuff on the board. He’s playing Jeopardy with them. He’s trying to just see what they know, and Nathan is really, really smart.”‘
Training Camp Preview: Offensive Line
‘Ryan Groy finds himself in an interesting place and he could end up battling for the starting left guard spot or center.’
Camp Countdown: No. 5 – Which rookie will make the most immediate impact?
‘“I’m just trying to take advantage of every opportunity. It doesn’t mean anything in my opinion. I’m out here throwing against guys like Micah Hyde and Jordan Poyer, and it felt good to throw with those guys, but also, I am still learning,” he said.’
