‘Any casual Bills fan knows by now how much coach Sean McDermott values versatility in his defenders, and perhaps no other player in the 2018 draft has more than Neal, who lined up at safety, linebacker and cornerback with the Gamecocks, who play in the Ohio Valley Conference of the Football Championship Subdivision.’

Jay Skurski’s Bills Mailbag: How ‘meddlesome’ are the Pegulas as team owners?
‘The true definition of “meddlesome,” in my mind, would be if the team owners were making decisions about players. That’s what they pay their general managers and/or coaches to do. Without being in those meetings, it’s hard to know whether that’s the case. It’s fair to say that they have had a very difficult time since being professional sports owners of getting the right people in place to run those teams from an on-ice or on-field perspective. That doesn’t make them more or less “meddlesome” than other owners, though.’
Roth: Chuck Knox pushed all the right buttons during colorful time in Bills history
‘“Chuck got it,’’ said Fred Smerlas, the Bills five-time Pro Bowl nose tackle and Wall of Fame member drafted by Knox in 1979. “He knew how to create unity. Other coaches just don’t get that. If there’s a sport where you need adrenaline, you need energy, you need unity, it’s football.’’’

‘“Excited to announce that I have accepted a position in the Buffalo Bills Scouting Department,” Mulbah wrote on the social media platform. “I’d like to thank Coach Babers, the SU football staff, and the players for an amazing two seasons filled with memories I will cherish for the rest of my life.”’
Steve Wyche: “If Josh Allen is going to get playing time this year he’s got to get it out of the gate”
‘”McCarron is a young guy that really hasn’t had a break. I think he’ll compete like hell, he’ll be a good leader in that locker room. I think the competitive edge he’ll have will at least let him start the season. I think the Bills have a good enough team to win plenty of games with him as the starter. That could make the transition to Josh Allen tough, which is why I think if Josh Allen is going to get playing time this year, he’s got to get it out of the gate.”‘
“Kelly Tough” 12k race raises money for Hunter’s Hope Foundation
‘”He’s doing well,” Kelly said. “it is a very very long process. He is healing though- to look at him and to compare the pictures of that first week to today, is just very profound.”‘
