‘Chark could be a late first-round pick, but it’s more likely that he’ll be a second-round selection. He really improved his stock through the pre-draft process and added career-highs in catches (40) and receiving yards (874) in his final season at LSU.’

Bills Today: Buffalo’s QBs are prepared for open competition
‘“With all the change that has happened on our team this year, there’s a lot of new faces [and] a lot of new people,” said Peterman. “For me, football has always been about competing, and I’m always competing, obviously, with other players but also with myself, too. [I’m] just always trying to get better. That was a big focus this offseason. [For myself] the previous months, [I’ve] just tried to find a way to get better while I was away from here and then same thing the next few months while I’m here.”’
NFL Draft Preview: Top 10 defensive tackles and where the Bills stand
‘The need here diminished greatly after they signed free-agent defensive tackle Star Lotulelei to a five-year, $50-million contract. That doesn’t mean the team should avoid addressing it. Kyle Williams turns 35 in June and this could very well be his final season in the NFL, so grooming a replacement makes sense.’
NFL Draft Preview: Top 10 inside linebackers and where the Bills stand
‘You know it. The Bills know it. Everyone around the NFL knows it. Buffalo has a massive hole at middle linebacker.’
Fred Jackson reflects on his Bills career, the drought and getting cut as he retires
‘”I was head-over-heels blown away by it. I love it to death,” Jackson said Wednesday after signing the paperwork. “It’s one of those things that I step back and look at it like, I must’ve done something right for the fans to still love me the way that they do and support me the way that they do. It gives me something to be proud of.”‘
Bucky Gleason: Bills’ Groy remains rooted in lessons learned from late father
‘”Nobody is going to give you anything,” Groy said. “You have to earn everything you get. That was something I was born with and something I learned as I got older and experienced. I was definitely not spoiled as a kid. If I wanted something I was either working for it or splitting (the cost) with them. Four thousand trees. It was brutal.”‘
Bills Notebook: Pre-draft visits wrap up with a pair of receivers in town
‘According to a report from NBC Sports’ Josh Norris, Memphis’ Anthony Miller and Maryland’s D.J. Moore both toured One Bills Drive on the final day draft prospects can visit teams.’
Bills reportedly host Boston College pass rusher Harold Landry
‘Landry, listed at 6-3 and 258 pounds, led the nation in sacks in 2016 with 16.5 and had 50 tackles, seven forced fumbles and an interception. He then opted to return for his senior season and finished his career with a total of 25 sacks and 10 forced fumbles in 38 games.’
Can Lamar Jackson break stereotype that dual-threat college QBs can’t succeed in NFL?
‘Jackson’s athleticism is off the charts, and he made plays that left fans shaking their heads in disbelief on his way to passing for 69 touchdowns and rushing for 50 more in three seasons. Some of his scrambles were even more impressive than Tyrod Taylor’s many escapes for the Buffalo Bills the past three years. Say what you want about Taylor, but to make that comparison is saying something.’
What Fred Jackson said about retiring with Buffalo Bills
‘”When they scored the touchdown to win and it got the Bills in the playoffs, I was running around the house, and my son was doing the same thing,” Jackson said. “We’re still huge Bills fans. This is still family for us. We were as ecstatic as everybody else.”‘
Buffalo Bills appear to host LSU LB/S Corey Thompson on pre-draft visit
‘Thompson completed his sixth season with the Tigers in 2017. He missed the 2014 and 2016 season due to injuries. During his time at LSU, Thompson recorded 109 total tackles (7.5 TFL), six sacks and three passes defensed. In addition to playing linebacker, Thompson also spent time on kick coverage during his collegiate career with the Tigers.’
2018 NFL Draft: Buffalo Bills host DE Harold Landry, WR Anthony Miller
‘Landry would be an interesting option for the Bills. An injury riddled 2017 season has hurt his draft stock a bit, but the Boston College product is one of the few top-end edge rushers in this class. Jerry Hughes will turn 30 before the 2018 season starts, and 2016 first-round pick Shaq Lawson has suffered through injuries and inconsistent play in his first two NFL seasons. Landry could be an option for Buffalo at either 12 or 22.’
Fred Jackson cherishes chance to retire with Buffalo Bills
‘”When I looked at Fred, I identified him as a guy like, ‘You know what? I really don’t want to let that guy down,'” Bills veteran defensive tackle Kyle Williams said.’
The heat is on
‘The Bills are in the market for a long term answer at the most critical position on the field. Of course they’ve been in that market for the last 20 years. Even though Beane has yet to complete a full year on the job, the heat is on due to a number of factors. The Bills traded away the player who had been the starting quarterback the last three years and whether you liked Tyrod Taylor or not, he was the guy on the job when the 17 season playoff drought thankfully came to an end.’
Fred Jackson is grateful for Marshawn Lynch & C.J. Spiller
‘”When I think about myself as a professional football player, it was when I was playing in Buffalo. Whenever I talk about playing football, I talk about my time in Buffalo. For me it was a hands down, no brainer to comeback and retire as a Buffalo Bill.”
