‘Nick Foles, Super Bowl LII MVP, can be had for the right price in a trade with the Philadelphia Eagles. The only question is whether or not the Bills are willing to pay Philadelphia’s asking price. Considering that Tyrod Taylor netted Buffalo the 65th overall pick in the draft, Foles may cost significantly more.’

5 thoughts and a grade for Bills trading Tyrod Taylor to Browns
‘Reports surfaced prior to the NFL Combine that the Bills didn’t plan to cut Taylor. They wanted to trade him. It seemed like wishful thinking. Who would trade for a quarterback most people assumed would be cut? As it turns out, Beane knew more about Taylor’s value than everyone else. To get a third-round draft pick in exchange for a quarterback the team wanted to upgrade is a win.’
Updated look at Buffalo Bills’ 2018 NFL draft picks following Tyrod Taylor trade
‘With six top 100 picks in the draft, the Bills have plenty to work with if they hope to land the likes of Sam Darnold, Josh Rosen, Baker Mayfield or Josh Allen.’
Buffalo Bills OT Cordy Glenn named a sneaky trade candidate by ESPN’s Dan Graziano
‘Glenn has been on the market since last October, when Buffalo couldn’t find a taker at its price. There aren’t many top tackles on the market, and it’s not a great draft for tackles. Expect the Bills to find a match for Glenn this offseason.’
Lance Zierlein 2018 NFL Mock Draft 2.0: Buffalo Bills add guard drawing comparisons to Richie Incognito
‘Although Incognito continues to play at a high level, the guard will turn 35 in July. Eventually the Bills will need to replace Incognito. Cloning the guard is out of the question, but the Bills could do the next best thing: Draft a guard drawing comparisons to Incognito.’
Breaking: Bills trade QB Tyrod Taylor to the Cleveland Browns
‘The Browns swung the deal with the Bills after trading for wide out Jarvis Landry from the Miami Dolphins in exchange for two draft picks.’
5 takeaways from the Buffalo Bills’ decision to trade Tyrod Taylor to the Cleveland Browns
‘Draft capital: The Bills are now pretty loaded in terms of the upcoming NFL draft. Buffalo, if they stand pat, will have six selections in the first hundred picks. The third-round pick from Cleveland will be No. 65. The other five are 21 and 22 in the first round, 53 and 56 in the second round, and 95, also in the third round. In addition, Buffalo has a fourth rounder (121) and two fifth-round picks (158, 166). The Bills have a lot of needs on both sides of the ball. Quarterback was among them. Now quarterback is without a doubt one of them. With the Taylor deal, the Bills essentially put themselves in a position with their fan base where a rookie quarterback will have to be selected this year. A veteran free agent in front of, or even behind, Nathan Peterman, won’t do it for Bills Mafia. Gotta get the future.’
Report: NFL teams don’t believe Bills will pay Tyrod Taylor’s roster bonus
‘The Bills have been attempting to move on from Taylor in various ways over the past two years in two different coach/GM regimes, and no one in the NFL I’ve talked to believes they will pick up a $6M option on him later this month and then keep him around to compete with Nathan Peterman and whatever quarterback they draft for a total of $16M. They benched him in the heat of a playoff race, if you recall, and while a trade would be ideal, they aren’t dealing from a position of great strength here. It’s time to move on for all parties, and there will be a nice market of teams waiting to pounce if/when Taylor is out of Buffalo.’
Chris Ivory said recent success attracted him to Buffalo, calls Bills ‘playoff contenders’
‘“I liked the vibes, it just felt right, it felt right for me,” Ivory said. “I’m speaking more on coaches, I met most of the offensive coaches and everybody seemed cool.’
Busy Browns trade for Jarvis Landry, Tyrod Taylor and a good cornerback
‘The Browns probably view him as a safeguard, a temporary starter only if whichever phenom QB they select high in Round 1 doesn’t immediately earn the starting job, as happened with Mitchell Trubisky (No. 2 overall) last year on the Chicago Bears, and with Jared Goff (No. 1 overall) two years ago on the Los Angeles Rams.’

AP sources: Browns agree to acquire QB Taylor from Bills
‘The teams came to terms on the deal Friday, said the people who spoke to The Associated Press on condition of anonymity because NFL rules prohibit trades from being announced next week when free agency opens and the league’s new calendar year begins. Cleveland is sending its first pick in the third round to Buffalo, the sources said.’
Buffalo Bills free agency capsule
‘Quarterback moved to the top of the list after Buffalo traded three-year starter Tyrod Taylor to the Cleveland Browns in exchange for a third-round pick. The deal leaves Nathan Peterman — a fifth-round draft pick last year — as the only quarterback on the roster.’
Browns acquire QB Taylor, WR Landry, CB Randall
‘Taylor played in 15 games for the Bills last year and completed 62.6 percent of his passes for 2,799 yards and 14 touchdowns with four interceptions. After spending the last three seasons with the Bills, Taylor is due a $6 million bonus that would become the Browns’ responsibility.’
Browns get Tyrod Taylor from Bills, trade DeShone Kizer to Packers
‘The Browns were interested in Taylor a year ago, but he agreed to stay in Buffalo with a new contract just before the start of free agency. If he starts the opener, he will be the 29th starting quarterback for the Browns since 1999.’
