‘Brugler’s reasoning: “The Bills are in hot pursuit for a quarterback; there is no doubt about that. But what is the organization’s next move? Trade up? Stay patient? It is unlikely they stay at No. 12, but if they do, Mayfield could still be available for them.”‘

NFL Draft 2018: What would it cost Buffalo Bills to trade for Giants’ No. 2 pick?
‘On the trade value chart, the No. 2 pick is worth 2,600 points. But considering the Jets just gave up 2,956 for the No. 3 pick, it stands to reason Bills general manager Brandon Beane would need to come up with the equivalent of 3,000 points worth of draft picks to get to No. 2.’
Bills sign offensive linemen Bodine, Newhouse
‘Bodine’s deal is for two years while Newhouse signed for one.’
3 takeaways from the Bills’ additions of Bodine, Newhouse
‘With the new offensive linemen now on board, it shouldn’t be assumed that they’re going to start right away for the Bills. Buffalo head coach Sean McDermott always preaches competitiveness on the roster, plus Bodine and Newhouse don’t merit that. They’ve both struggled in their careers and the Bills must be hoping the staff in Orchard Park can get more out of them.’

‘Minter, 27, played nine games with the Bengals last season, notching 32 tackles, after spending the first four years of the NFL career with the Arizona Cardinals after the team selected him in the second round of the 2013 draft. Minter also contributes on special teams.’
Report: Bills have contacted Browns about first pick in NFL draft
‘Patrick, the former ESPN personality who also works on NBC’s Football Night in America, said the Bills have had discussions with the Cleveland Browns about trading up to the first-overall pick in the draft.’
Tyrod Taylor said he “respects” Bills’ decision to trade him, will be Browns’ opening day starter
‘“You never can predict anything in this league,” Taylor said. “I worked my butt off day-in and day-out there, and I’m gonna continue to do the same here. As far as Buffalo, seeing a different vision moving forward then I respect that. I’m here, happy and looking forward to working with a great group of guys.”’
Kelly stays tough as ever on cancer
‘After hearing the cancer had returned, there was some question whether Kelly would be able to make this Sunday’s scheduled event at Sangertown Square. But Vincent Carfagno, the founder of Cooperstown Connection, spoke with Kelly’s agent and said the Buffalo Bills’ legendary No. 12 will be returning to the Utica area on Sunday.’
Buffalo Bills sign Cincinnati Bengals center Russell Bodine
‘Bengals head coach Marvin Lewis said in January the club needed to do whatever was in its power to keep Bodine, who has started every game at center for the team since being drafted in 2014. Lewis, along with director of player personnel Duke Tobin, believed there was more potential to tap into from Bodine under new offensive line coach Frank Pollack and offensive coordinator Bill Lazor.’
Bodine leaves Bengals for Bills
‘Bodine started all 64 games at center after the Bengals traded up to draft him in the fourth round in 2015. The unrestricted free agent signed a two-year contract with the Bills.’
TCU reunion in Buffalo as former Horned Frogs’ lineman signs one-year deal
‘Newhouse, 29, joins former Horned Frogs’ teammate Jerry Hughes, who has been with the Bills since 2013. Newhouse and Hughes were in the same 2006 freshman class and were part of the group that led TCU to the Fiesta Bowl, the Frogs’ first BCS bowl, after the 2009 season. Both earned All-American honors at TCU. He’ll also join former TCU running Aaron Green, who was signed to the Bills’ practice squad in early January after being released from the Dallas Cowboys’ practice squad. Green played in two games for the Rams in 2016.’

‘”The truth? Most of these quarterbacks I’ve only spent 15 minutes with,” he said, referring to 15-minute interviews at the NFL Scouting Combine.’
Bills GM says he’s ‘not ready to pull the trigger’ on moving up for a quarterback
‘”The truth? Most of these quarterbacks I’ve only spent 15 minutes with,” Beane said, per Peter King of The MMQB. “I haven’t spent enough time to have an opinion about any of them yet, honestly. I actually sent a little note to our [scouts] yesterday. We got six weeks to get our board together. I am not there yet, knowing if we can or will move up again. I want Sean to get to know all of them. We’re just keeping an open mind. Where we’re at, we’ve got the picks, we’ve got the draft capital. I’m not ready to pull the trigger.”‘
Bills add Bodine and Newhouse to the offensive line
