‘As Allbright noted, the move would presumably be for a quarterback. Buffalo currently has Tyrod Taylor and Nathan Peterman under contract, but the team may move on from their former starter. Taylor is owed a $6 million roster bonus if he’s still a member of the Bills on March 16. Even if Taylor stays, his contract runs out after the 2018 season. Buffalo needs to start thinking about their future and it’s clear that the team doesn’t feel that they have a franchise quarterback on their roster. The Bills could pursue a quarterback in free agency, but there could be a bidding war between QB needy teams for the likes of Kirk Cousins, Case Keenum, Teddy Bridgewater, Sam Bradford and A.J. McCarron.’
