‘”Everybody went crazy,” said Williams, who is in his 12th and perhaps final season with the Bills. “I’ve been a wreck for 10 to 15 minutes.”‘

‘After being tackled, he pounded the turf with his fist as trainers attended to him. He had 10 yards on 11 carries, giving him 1,138 yards rushing on the season.’
Fans brave cold to greet playoff-bound Bills at airport
‘Supporters formed two rows and watched as players drove their cars in a procession down the middle to exit. One fan held a sign that said “Party Like It’s 1999,” a reference to the team’s last playoff appearance. Buffalo hasn’t won a playoff game since 1995.’
Bills beat Dolphins, earn first playoff berth since 1999
‘”This is such an emotional moment,” Bills head coach Sean McDermott said. “No one gave this team a chance all year long. Our fans have been great all season long, and I’m looking forward to seeing them at our playoff game.”‘
Bills end drought, secure wild-card spot after Bengals beat Ravens

Bills RB LeSean McCoy carted off with ankle injury

Bengals earn Sean McDermott’s thanks, wings from Bills for Buffalo playoff berth
‘How exactly the Bills are planning to give the Bengals their free wings — hopefully they aren’t going to buy wings and then ship them to Cincinnati, because that sounds awful — is unknown, but it’s a nice gesture. It’s not everyday you break your historic playoff drought thanks to a heroic touchdown by Andy Dalton and Tyler Boyd of all players. So, wings (and more than a few drinks) seems like an appropriate way to celebrate.’
Bills send letter thanking Bengals for helping them reach playoffs
‘The Bills, who haven’t played post-season football since 1999, took to Twitter to show their appreciation.’
From tanking to trading to benching, Bills survive themselves, reach playoffs
‘Their only losses post-Peterman decision were to the Patriots. They trailed just 6-3 late in the first half of the game in Buffalo, and Taylor hurt his knee and was out for the fourth quarter. In Foxborough, the game got out of hand after an atrocious overturn of a Kelvin Benjamin touchdown catch.’
Bills end the playoff drought! Will face Jaguars in Wild Card!
‘The Bills defense got in on the scoring with 6 minutes to go in the 4th. As Jarvis Landry reched for the goalline, he fumbled the ball. Preston Brown picked it up, and went 99 yards for the touchdown, making it 29-3. But. The play was reviewed and it was determined that Landry was out of bounds before the ball came out. Landry scored on the next play, and head butted Jordan Poyer sparking a brawl. Every flag and hat from the refs were on the field. Kenyan Drake got tossed for throwing a Bills helmet as far as he could, while Landry was also ejected from the game. Multpile personal fouls resulted from the play.’
The Drought is Dead
‘Did I mention that the drought is dead?’
Halleluyah!!!
‘It took me about two hours before I could start writing my reaction column. I had so many different thoughts colliding in my head. I haven’t felt this way in so long and I just tried to put everything down on paper so I knew how to express what I was feeling. I think I’m still somewhat in a state of shock because of how things played out with the drama in Baltimore. I can honestly tell you the fact that the Bills have a playoff game in Jacksonville on Sunday hasn’t really sunk in yet. We will be talking about a Bills playoff game rather than the extension of the drought. This is truly amazing. Its been so long since the Bills have been in the post season, I’m finding it hard to remember what it was/is like.’
Capaccio: Bills-Dolphins: Arrow Up/Arrow Down
‘Not only is Williams going to the playoffs for the first time in his thirteen year career, all with the Bills, he added an exclamation point to what might have been his final regular season game when he scored a touchdown on a handoff from the one yard line. The unquestioned emotional leader of the team also finished with three tackles and a QB hurry on defense.’
The Drought is Over: Bills make playoffs for first time since 1999 season
‘The highlight moment of the second half: Defensive tackle Kyle Williams, the longest-tenured member of the franchise, rushed in the ball from one yard out to give the team a 19-0 lead on the way to victory.’
