‘Buffalo wanted to say thanks following the Bengals’ win and reached out to the team on Twitter. In addition to a note thanking Cincinnati, Buffalo informed the team that they’d be sending wings to show their gratitude.’

What Bills coach Sean McDermott said after drought-breaking win over Dolphins
‘“You know what? I’m a firm believer in faith and I know God brought me here for a reason. He brought this group of men together for a reason, so that’s what I fall back on in times like this.”’
Bring the tables: Buffalo Bills’ Richie Incognito invites fans to greet team at airport
‘Fans were ecstatic following the win and Bills guard Richie Incognito wants to celebrate with the fan base. After boarding the team flight, Incognito tweeted out details on when they’d be arriving back in Buffalo in case they wanted to greet the team.’
LeSean McCoy injury: What to know about Buffalo Bills RB hurting his ankle
‘Behind McCoy, the Bills have just Marcus Murphy and Mike Tolbert at running back. The two combined for 80 yards on the ground against the Dolphins Sunday, but the dropoff from McCoy is a steep one. The Jaguars have struggled in run defense for most of the season, too, so this injury is one to watch throughout the week. Bills quarterback Tyrod Taylor knows how big a loss McCoy would be.’
NFL playoffs odds, over/under: Bills open as underdog vs. Jaguars
‘According to pregame.com, the Bills have opened up as a 7.5-point underdog against the Jacksonville Jaguars. The Bills have been playing that role all season long, so this shouldn’t be a problem for them. But as rookie cornerback Tre’Davious White said after the game, there aren’t any underdogs in the playoffs.’
Famous Buffalo Bills fans react to team’s playoff berth
‘You’ve probably heard the saying, “Celebrities are just like us!” It turns out that this is certainly true for celebrity Buffalo Bills fans. Following the end of the Bills’ 17-year playoff drought, many famous Bills fans reacted on social media. Here are some of the best reactions.’
Kyle Williams, other Buffalo Bills pour their hearts out after ending drought
‘But the lasting image will be Kyle Williams, the former fifth-round pick who stuck around for another season. The man who scored his first touchdown since high school when the Bills decided to give him a goal-line carry in the win over the Dolphins. There he was, standing in disbelief in the locker room with two of his sons. He stood and answered questions and tried to put it all into workds, but none of what he said could match what he told his team after the game.’
Tyrod Taylor went from benched to helping end Buffalo Bills playoff drought
‘How do you describe a team ending a 17-year playoff drought in a season many expected to end with four or five wins? What about a quarterback who was written off by this team a year ago, brought back by a new coach and then benched mid-season only to regain his starting job? In a sense, Taylor is the perfect quarterback for this team of misfits and afterthoughts. He was drafted in the sixth round, stuck as a backup for four years in Baltimore and handed a pile of adverse situations in Buffalo.’
5 takeaways from the Bills win over the Dolphins
‘Holy brawl: After linebacker Preston Brown thought he had a 99-yard touchdown return following a fumble by Miami wide receiver Jarvis Landry, the play was reversed and Landry had a one-yard rushing score on the next play. Then madness ensued. Landry headbutted Buffalo safety Jordan Poyer. A brawl broke out and on the bottom of the pile. Miami running back Kenyan Drake got up and threw a Buffalo helmet across the field. The Bills did receive penalties on the play, however, only Landry and Drake were tossed from the game for their actions. In the grand scheme, the Bills held their own during the scuffle and still stood up for one another.’
Buffalo Bills Week 17 Report Card: Bills beat Dolphins 22-16, end 17-year playoff drought
‘There are more than a few critiques of this coaching staff, but that can wait until after the season. Sean McDermott and his staff led the Bills to their first playoff berth in 17 years. That deserves an “A” grade. It wasn’t an easy road to get here, but they did it. Congratulations to McDermott and his assistants.’

After Cincinnati Bengals stunning win, Buffalo Bills thank them for playoff berth and promise wings
‘After we handled business in Miami, we needed you, and you came through bigtime. On Behalf of this team, the people of the City of Buffalo, and Bills fans around the world, thank you. Thank you. THANK YOU!’
Bills, with help from Bengals, are heading to playoffs for the first time since 1999
‘And it couldn’t have happened without a stunning loss by the Ravens at the hands of the Bengals.’
Bills finally will get chance to put Music City Miracle in the past
‘The last time the Bills made the postseason, they lost 22-16 to the Titans in the Music City Miracle game on Jan. 8, 2000. Between that day and Sunday, they had amassed the longest playoff drought of any team in any of the big four North American team sports. And now the Bills are going back, thanks to the Miracle at the Inner Harbor.’
Bills vs. Jaguars AFC wild-card game preview: Three things to know
‘But it feels like the Bills — given McCoy’s injury and their late entry into the field after a miraculous meltdown by the Ravens — are playing with house money, while the Jags’ propensity to draw attention to themselves could ultimately be counterproductive.’
