‘It’s really a shame the Bills offense couldn’t do anything against a defense that had been giving up plays the past few weeks. This game was there for the taking and really would’ve helped in the race for the Wild Card.’

An expected Bills loss to the Pats can still be depressing
‘It could be watching this pathetic Bills passing game has taken too much of a toll. Games like these, and I include both Tyrod Taylor and Nathan Peterman in this, make you wonder if or when the Bills will ever get a real quarterback. You know, the kind of quarterback who can go out and beat the best teams in the NFL.’
Capaccio: Bills-Patriots: Arrow Up/Arrow Down
‘Last week in this space, I wrote that Taylor was “smart and efficient.” He was neither Sunday. On the opening drive of the game the Bills’ offense gained 66 yards and ate up almost half the quarter. Taylor threw for 35 yards on the drive before floating an easy interception to Pats’ LB Eric Lee. But after those 35 yards on the first series, he threw for 30 yards the rest of the game! (Taylor appeared to be injured on the first series and played most of the rest of the same, leaving just thirty seconds into the fourth quarter with a knee injury). As has been the case too often with Taylor, there were several throws he didn’t make that appeared to be available for good yardage. He finished 9-for-18 for 65 yards with the one interception and no touchdowns.’
Bills shut down by Patriots in 23-3 loss
‘In the 2nd half of play, the Patriots capitalized on their first drive of the half as Western New York native Rob Gronkowski made a couple of big catches that helped cap off a 1-yard touchdown run by Rex Burkhead to extend their lead 16-3. Burkhead would add another touchdown later in the game to make it a 20 point lead.’

‘Have we seen the last of Tyrod Taylor?’
Brady, Patriots thump Bills 23-3
‘Brady threw for 258 yards and and was held without a touchdown pass, while tying Drew Bledsoe for the most wins inside a Bills stadium with 14.’
Tre’ White leaves game with head injury after cheap shot from Rob Gronkowski
‘While on the ground, Patriots tight end Rob Gronkowski — who was being covered by White — lined up the rookie, stuttered stepped and buried his shoulder into the back of his head.’
Jordan Poyer on Gronk’s cheap shot: “No room in this league for that”
‘“There’s no room in this league for that type of crap,” safety Jordan Poyer said after the game.’
Same old story: Patriots beat the Bills, again
‘Buffalo was out-gained 148 to 15 in the yards in third quarter.’
Bills angered by Gronkowski cheap shot
‘”Tre’Davious was on the ground and (Gronk) eyed him up,” Micah Hyde said. “He looked right at him, I’m not sure if it was a shoulder or elbow, but that was dirty.”‘
Pitoniak: Gronk deals crushing blow to Bills as New England’s dominance over the Bills continues
‘Hardly. This was, after all, the Patriots vs. the Bills, and we have become all too familiar with how these games turn out. It was only a matter of time before adjustments would be made by Bill Belichick and his staff and the dam would burst.’
Bills Fall To Patriots 23-3
‘Typical Bills/Patriots game as the Bills hung around for a bit but the Patriots did what they needed to do to take control of the game. It wasn’t an unexpected loss and the defense showed some promise against Brady while giving up big runs before faltering in the second half which we have seen so many times in this one sided series this decade. The offense was awful once again which is the biggest disappointment in another Patriots blowout of Buffalo.’
Week 13: Offense Struggles In 23-3 Defeat
Quarterback: Grade F: 15 completions won’t do it against anyone let alone New England.’
Bills offense can’t keep pace in loss to Pats
‘The Bills not only lost a pivotal game for their AFC playoff hopes on Sunday, they also lost their quarterback. Tyrod Taylor left the game with a knee injury in the fourth quarter in a game where the offense managed just a field goal in a 20-point loss to New England.’
Tre’ White in concussion protocol after Gronk’s dirty hit
‘“I thought it was a good play by Tre’,” said head coach Sean McDermott. “I wasn’t happy with what ensued after that. I just don’t think that there’s any place for the game in that. It was unfortunate. I know that (Gronkowski) is a better player than that.”’
