‘McCoy also went down with an injury on the play. He walked off the field with the help of trainers but appeared to have suffered an injury to his leg. He missed only one play.’

What Bills coach Sean McDermott said after big win over Dolphins
‘Just a couple things: first of all, a big-time thank you everyone, again, that got this stadium ready to play both in the stadium and outside the stadium. It was a great team effort. Secondly, and not to be outdone, our fans [did a] tremendous job this year at home [with a] 6-2 record. It’s a step in the right direction in reestablishing who we are and how we play at home. That was big for us. Finally, congrats to LeSean McCoy on 10,000 yards [rushing]. 30th player in NFL history [to do so]. A great accomplishment. Tremendous.”‘
What Bills players said about LeSean McCoy reaching 10,000 career rushing yards
‘”It’s still cool to share that with Shady and the guys on this offensive line. What we’ve been doing here for the last three years is really special running the football. The offensive line and Shady really work well together and we’re excited we can share in this with him.”‘
AFC playoff picture 2017: Where Buffalo Bills stand after win over Dolphins
‘The Bills’ chances of beating the Patriots aren’t great, but Buffalo can also sneak into the playoffs with nine wins. If the Bills beat the Dolphins in Week 17 to get to 9-7, they would need the Titans to lose to Jacksonville in Week 17 or a loss by the Ravens. We’ll dive into the full scenarios and who to root for in Week 16 in another post, but for now, here are the remaining scheduled for the teams in the mix.’
Bills vs. Dolphins: Kelvin Benjamin active; Mike Tolbert a healthy scratch
‘Meanwhile, the Bills have declared running back Mike Tolbert inactive for this game. He did not appear on the injury report all week and is a healthy scratch for this game. That means Travaris Cadet has passed Mike Tolbert as the Bills’ No. 2 running back, at least for this week.’
5 takeaways from the Bills win over the Dolphins
‘It seems like Tyrod Taylor always has a good showing against the Dolphins. That’s because he does. In five career games against Miami, the Buffalo quarterback has 1,232 passing yards, a 65 percent completion percentage, nine touchdowns, and no interceptions. On Sunday, that trend continued. Nothing eye-popping, but not too shabby either. Taylor went 17-for-29 for 224 yards and a touchdown while adding around 42 yards on six carries on the ground. Taylor’s rushing touchdown was a thing of beauty, too. Nine yards run around the edge when it appeared Taylor wanted to rush up the middle before kicking it out. Not a lot of QBs can do that.’
Kyle Williams gets emotional explaining why playing in Buffalo is special, no update on his future
‘“Just how special this place is because of our fans,” Williams said. “I said we play and live in a place that celebrates grit as much as they celebrate talent. And I said that’s not the case everywhere. I said I’ve been here a long time and you get guys that ‘oh they might not want to come here in free agency, oh they might not want to get drafted here.’ Those same guys who leave in free agency or they’re released or whatever it is? They don’t want to leave,” Williams said.’
Kelvin Benjamin will have offseason surgery, updates struggles with knee injury
‘”Definitely, definitely. As soon as the season is over, I’m going to have surgery on it,” Benjamin said.’
Locker room reaction: Expect chippy game in South Beach Week 17
‘We know it’s going to be a whole new situation down there. They’ll have home field advantage, but hopefully we can take this momentum and get big win in Foxborough next week and then take it down to Miami and get another big win there the next week.’
Report card: Bills top Dolphins 24-16
‘It wasn’t ugly, but it wasn’t perfect. Tyrod Taylor went 17-for-29 for 224 yards and a touchdown pass on the afternoon. Taylor ran one in as well in a quite impressive manner on a run outside. There was more good than bad, but there were also a couple of drives where the offense looked inept, especially drives two and three when the Bills only mustered 14 total yards between the two after scoring on the first.’
The job is not yet finished for McCoy, Bills in playoff chase
‘The New York Times playoff simulator gives Buffalo around a 96-percent chance to make the playoffs if it sweeps the final two games with wins. However, a loss to New England and a win over Miami puts the Bills at odds ranging from the mid-60s to mid-70s, due to the possibility of upsets in the simulator.’
Buffalo Bills Week 15 Report Card: Tyrod Taylor, LeSean McCoy lead Bills to 24-16 win over Dolphins
‘Tyrod Taylor was the Bills’ most valuable player against the Dolphins. He threw for 224 yards and a touchdown. He added 42 rushing yards and a touchdown. He made plays with his arm and his legs. One of his best throws was a beautiful 29-yard touch pass to Charles Clay. He had a few passes like that against the Dolphins. He had another beautifully placed throw on the touchdown to LeSean McCoy. When he plays well, this is a tough team to beat. He’s not going to put up gaudy numbers, but he will get the offense moving.’
Is this the Bills’ year? They’ve inched closer to ending the drought
‘If the Patriots beat the Bills this coming Sunday, however, as almost everyone will predict this week, then to make the playoffs as one of the two AFC wild cards, the Bills would have to defeat the Dolphins again, this time in Miami on New Year’s Eve in their regular-season finale, and hope other Week 16 and 17 AFC results go precisely their way. If not, the Bills’ dreaded drought would hit 18 years.’

Tyrod Taylor, Bills take down Dolphins to remain in playoff hunt
‘Jay Cutler and the Dolphins offense offered up some presents of their own. Cutler was intercepted three times and fumbled four times, though he recovered all four fumbles. The Dolphins team that convincingly beat New England last week did not make the trip to Buffalo, and they struggled to move the ball on Sunday.’
