‘Of the milestone, McCoy admitted, “I look forward to doing that. When I leave this game, I want my name to be recognized with a lot of the other top backs. I think it’s really important to be a top back in your era, in your time. When you’re retired, you have kids, nephews and grandchildren and you can tell them that. You can look it up.”‘

Bills coach Sean McDermott addresses Jordan Matthews’ recent surgeries
‘”I think it’s a combination of both,” coach Sean McDermott said Friday. “You know, you watch Jordan over the season. He’s toughed it out at times, being out there not really able to execute at his maximum potential. So we just felt like it was, again, a situation where it was right for him. We’re always going to try and do the right thing by the player first. So had a conversation with Jordan and feel good about it. I’m happy for him that he’s going to have a chance to get this thing cleaned up and ready to go.”‘
Bills Notebook: QB Tyrod Taylor to start Sunday; LT Cordy Glenn on IR
‘”I don’t want to put a timetable on it moving forward, so we’ll see,” McDermott said of Peterman. “Anything could happen.”‘
Vic Carucci’s Take Five: Bills need to avoid another passing disaster
‘The Bills have to make a point of finding success with quick, three-step drop passes, or this will be yet another long day for Taylor at home, where he has had some of the worst performances of his career this season.’
Sean McDermott says Tyrod Taylor will start at QB against Dolphins
‘Taylor, who missed last week’s game with a knee injury, took almost all of the first-team reps in practice this week as rookie Nathan Peterman was unable to do so because he was in the NFL’s concussion protocol.’
Bills giving rookie linebacker Matt Milano a chance to make his mark
‘Buffalo can only hope that one of its fifth-round picks in 2017, weakside linebacker Matt Milano, can have a career somewhere close to the magnitude of Williams. I’m glad the Bills have finally decided to give Milano a chance to start showing us whether it’s possible.’
Bills vs. Dolphins: How to watch, listen, plus things to know before kickoff
‘Last season, the Dolphins swept the Bills including a December game in the second-to-last week of the season, a 34-31 overtime decision, that eliminated the Bills from the playoff hunt and helped solidify Miami’s spot in the postseason. That happened to be Rex Ryan’s final game as head coach.’
Buffalo Bills OT Cordy Glenn lands on injured reserve, will have foot surgery
‘”Cordy just has had somewhat of a frustrating year overall,” McDermott said. “We realize his talent. He’s going to have a procedure in the near future with Bob Anderson, one of the best in the world at what he does. The whole goal is to get Cordy into a place where he’s ready to go for the offseason program and can have a productive offseason, put this behind him and move forward.”‘
ESPN Insider projects Alex Smith as Buffalo Bills’ 2018 starting quarterback
‘If Buffalo moves on from Taylor, Nathan Peterman will be the only true quarterback remaining on the Bills’ roster. Buffalo could add a veteran to vie for the job, add a quarterback in the 2018 draft or do both. ESPN Insider’s Mike Sando recently projected 2018 starters for QB-needy teams and made two projections for the Bills. The first projection saw Buffalo adding Alex Smith while his second projection has the Bills drafting Baker Mayfield.’

Tyrod Taylor Will Start for Bills vs. Dolphins
‘Sunday’s game is a crucial one for the Bills, who are currently clinging to the final AFC Wild Card spot. Buffalo is 7–6 and holds the No. 6 seed by virtue of tiebreakers over the Chargers and Ravens. A Dolphins (6–7) win would could also improve Miami’s slim playoff hopes, though the Fins would need a lot of help to slip into the postseason.’
