‘“I have a lot of respect for our opponent, but it doesn’t change how we approach every week. The standard that we set for ourselves, remains the same every week. We focus on what we do. There’s only so many things you can control, so that’s what we focus on.”’

How did Buffalo Bills land Micah Hyde in free agency? Ask the Green Bay Packers
‘”It was eye opening,” Hyde said. “It was like somebody stabbed me in my back because I still had to play for that team for the next whatever. But I played my best football I’ve ever played. Maybe when I get stabbed in my back it makes me play a little better. It was frustrating at the time, but God has a plan and it all worked out for me.”‘
Patriots notebook: Stephon Gilmore happy to head back to first NFL home to face Bills
‘“It was good,” Gilmore said of his time with the Bills. “It was the first team that believed in me, drafted me. I met a lot of good people around there, a lot of good people in that town. It was a good experience.”’
Bills go big game hunting vs, Patriots
‘For a frenzied Buffalo football fandom (they don’t call ’em the Bills Mafia for nothing) that hasn’t seen its team participate in a playoff game this millennium, Sunday afternoon’s game with the Patriots at New Era Field may very well qualify.’
Patriots notebook: Taylor made to extend plays
‘“His ability to extend plays, I would say, is just as concerning or dangerous and tough to defend as him actually pulling the ball down and running with it. That’s a problem, too. But extending the play and throwing it is, I’d say, as big or probably a bigger problem.”’

Joe B: 5 things to watch for in Buffalo Bills vs. New England Patriots (12/2/17)
‘The last time McDermott’s defense went up against the Patriots, it was back in 2013 when he was the defensive coordinator for the Carolina Panthers — a game that his team ended up winning. So, I went back and charted how McDermott played Brady and the results put him firmly on #TeamCoverage. Brady dropped back a total of 45 times (including plays that resulted in penalties). The Panthers sent four or fewer rushers at Brady 35 of those 45 plays — a whopping 78-percent of dropbacks. Of those 45 attempts, the Panthers were able to bring him down for a sack twice and hurried him seven times.’
What they’re saying: Bills-Patriots game predictions
‘The Bills were impressive in winning at Kansas City, but their defense isn’t good enough to beat New England – even at home. Look for a monster game from Tom Brady as the Pats continue to dominate the division.’

Top 10 reasons to get fired up for Bills-Patriots Week 13
‘There’s nothing like a division matchup to get the Bills pumped up. When Bill Belichick, Tom Brady and company stroll into town this weekend, it’ll signify the first meeting between Buffalo and New England this season. A tale of two rivals, this game will be a battle on both sides. Time to circle the wagons.’
Bills Today: Keys to spoiling Gronk’s homecoming
‘“Just try and stay between him and the ball,” Brown said. “When you are matched up against him just try to get some pass break ups and no run after the catch. He always seems like he’s dragging people down the field and people are jumping on his back and he’s still running for 10 yards. No yards after the catch.”’
