‘The Saints’ third touchdown drive was the ultimate insult to Sean McDermott’s defense, running down the Bills’ throats on 10 consecutive plays to go from their own 6-yard line all the way into the end zone. The beatdown was steady: The gains on the drive, in chronological order, went for 11, 10, 9, 9, 15, 11, 11, 5 and 6 yards before Drew Brees completed the drive on a 7-yard scramble for the Saints’ fifth rushing touchdown of the day.’

Second quarter analysis: Saints pull away, but Lasco injury overshadows game
‘Saints quarterback Drew Brees completed 15 of 20 passes for 146 yards in the first half, good for an average of 7.3 yards per play, while the Tyrod Taylor and the Bills were the inverse of the Saints, gaining 48 yards on 13 attempts, or 3.7 yards per attempt.’
First quarter analysis: Saints offense churning against Bills
‘The Bills drove into the red zone on the game’s opening possession but LeSean McCoy got bottled up on first down and Tyrod Taylor couldn’t hit Kelvin Benjamin on second and third and they had to settle for a 37-yard field goal, missing a chance to get their first first-quarter touchdown of the season.’
Five things to know about the Los Angeles Chargers, the Bills’ Week 11 opponent
‘As demoralizing as the Bills’ 47-10 loss to the Saints was, at least it wasn’t as heartbreaking as the way the Chargers lost Sunday.’
What They Said: Bills-Saints transcripts of Sean McDermott, Tyrod Taylor, Kelvin Benjamin, Sean Payton, Drew Brees & more
‘Well, they beat us. Give them a ton of credit. They beat us. I got to coach better, we got to play better, that’s the obvious. This was not what we expected and we’ve got to take a hard look at things.’
Orchard Park Police report man set on fire, pedestrians hit on Bills game day
‘After the game, two pedestrians were struck by a sedan on Abbott Road near One Bills Drive shortly after Abbott was reopened after the game. At about 6:15 p.m., officers found one woman unresponsive in the roadway and another had her foot trapped under the tire of the vehicle that struck them. Fire and emergency medical teams extricated the trapped woman, treated both victims and transported them to ECMC. Police later said both were listed in fair condition.’
Bills Tailgate Report: Saints fans come to Buffaleaux, and a Bills-themed haircut
‘“Saints fan for life,” said Rizzo, a nurse anesthetist at ECMC who lives with her husband, a Bills fan, in Amherst.’
An utterly embarrassing performance as Bills get obliterated 47-10 by Saints
‘This isn’t a playoff team, and kudos to those who weren’t fooled by the 5-2 start that was accomplished against a schedule which, going into Week 10, contained just one team currently with a winning record (Carolina).’
Playoffs?! This once-promising Bills season has taken a dire turn for the worse
‘As we said last week, the loss to the Jets feels like the turning point in this season. Two months from now when the NFL playoffs begin, it seems to me we’re going to be looking back on that loss as the one that short-circuited what seemed like a promising year, the one that enabled the drought to reach its voting age birthday.’
Bills report card: Buffalo offense so bad, its best run came from a streaker
‘Tyrod Taylor was terrible, one of his worst games as a Bill. He completed 9 of 18 passes for 56 yards and had a 33.6 QB rating. Taylor was picked off once, though it wasn’t his fault as the ball went through Charles Clay’s hands and right to New Orleans’ Sheldon Rankins. Taylor had Clay back, and WR Kelvin Benjamin for the first time, and failed to utilize them. He completed his first attempt to Benjamin, and never another; his only two receptions came courtesy of Nathan Peterman. Clay had two catches for 13 yards. So much for the infusion on offense. Peterman led the only TD drive and threw his first NFL scoring pass when the game was long decided. No, he’s not the new starter.’
Saints extend streak by dominating Bills
‘“It starts up front at the line of scrimmage … that’s where the game is won and we’ve got to do a better job there,” first-year coach Sean McDermott said when asked why the Bills are struggling.’
Bills’ defensive players have no answers for ‘nightmare’ game against Saints
‘”You don’t want to start creating bad habits or start doubting yourself, and that’s what happens when games list this kind of go back-to-back and you start seeing a routine of things happening so we’ve just got to be professionals, look at the tape and correct it.”‘
NFL Week 11 odds, over/under: Bills open as road underdog to Chargers
‘Buffalo isn’t likely to be a favorite in Vegas until they play the Indianapolis Colts at home in Week 14.’
Saints’ Cameron Jordan on strategy against Bills’ Tyrod Taylor: ‘We made him a quarterback’
‘”I don’t even know, what was there, 16 defensive snaps in the first half?” Jordan said. “I was contemplating running extra half gas just to keep my conditioning. I think we came out and did what we had to do. I knew that Tyrod Taylor would try and scramble and we pretty much eliminated that except we got a little hungry on some sacks and he spun out and did exactly what we knew he was going to do. We kept him in the pocket and made him a quarterback.”‘
Report card: A few extra ‘Fs’ in Buffalo after Saints embarrass Bills
‘Tyrod Taylor threw for 56 yards on 18 attempts before getting pulled for Nathan Peterman. While Peterman threw for 79 yards and a touchdown, that wasn’t enough to save this grade from being an “F.” Taylor didn’t take many chances with the football and had no answer for the Saints rolling coverage to Kelvin Benjamin’s side of the field. He completed just one pass to a wide receiver all game.’
