‘It starts up front [and] we’ve got to win at the line of scrimmage. That’s where this game is won, is up front. We’ve got to do a better job there.’

Kelvin Benjamin not complaining about targets after Bills’ blowout loss to Saints
‘”I think when they first came out in that first drive it was more ‘man,'” Benjamin said. “They switched up the coverages and started playing a lot of ‘six’ a lot of ‘two.’ Just switching it up and rolling more to my side and stuff like that. We tried to come out fast and we did. It just slowed down for us.”‘
What Bills QB Tyrod Taylor said about his ‘horrible’ performance against Saints
‘”Horrible game,” Taylor said afterward. “Our offense didn’t get anything going and that starts with me. Just an overall bad game. Something as a team we have to learn from. I definitely have to learn from this one. Just a bad game overall.”‘
Playoff-o-Meter: Buffalo Bills’ playoff odds look slim after second blowout loss
‘At 5-4, the Bills are still in the Wild Card hunt in the AFC, but the team has a very difficult stretch of games coming up against the Chargers, Chiefs and Patriots. Realistically, Buffalo needs to find a way to win two of these games. It’s hard to envision based on their recent play on both sides of the ball.’
What Bills QB Nathan Peterman said about making his debut against Saints
‘”It’s always good to get in,” Peterman said. “That’s my first action since the preseason. Reps are always helpful. To see a now finalized NFL defense, I think it was helpful.”‘
Bills vs. Saints: Tyrod Taylor pulled for Nate Peterman in embarrassing loss (12 observations)
‘It turns out the Bills’ disastrous performance against the Jets was not an anomaly. The Bills got shredded by the Saints on the ground Sunday. New Orleans managed to get over 200 yards rushing before the end of the third quarter. Both Mark Ingram and Alvin Kamara gashed the Bills repeatedly. The Saints averaged more than seven yards per carry and had six rushing touchdowns, three of which were scored by Mark Ingram. Brees even managed to run for a touchdown. Not only did the Bills lose the battle up front, but they again missed too many tackles. The Saints would have been over 300 yards rushing if not for a few kneel downs.’
Buffalo Bills vs. New Orleans Saints injury report: Charles Clay returns from injury
‘Tight end Khari Lee, guard John Miller, wide receiver Zay Jones and offensive tackles Cordy Glenn and Conor McDermott are all inactive as well.’
QB reaction: Peterman pleased, Tyrod “pissed” following loss to Saints
‘“Yeah that was a decision made by coach McDermott and that’s what he thought was best for the team,” Taylor said. “I was more so pissed at the performance or lack of performance, I had and we had as a team.”‘
Report card: Bills lose 47-10 to the Saints
‘It’s hard to find many positives, the lone one was Kyle Williams (4 tackles) recovering a fumble. Outside of that, the Saints racked up nearly 300 rushing yards (298) along with six scores on the ground. New Orleans average 6.2 yards-per-carry. That’s awful.’
5 takeaways from the Bills loss to the Saints
‘Third down woes: In total, the Bills were 2-for-11 on third down against the Saints. The play calls weren’t good. During a four-play stretch on third down, Buffalo went with a short throw to Mike Tolbert, a pass to Charles Clay which was intercepted, another short pass to Tolbert, and a short throw to LeSean McCoy for good measure. Most we’re short of the sticks. The Bills didn’t do themselves many favors on the early downs either.’
Taylor plays too conservative, while Saints run away with win
‘These situations were commonplace. In third-and-long downs, Taylor hesitates to throw for the sticks and settles with a higher completion percentage. The offense as a whole fell apart after the first drive that mustered its only points except for the final drive that was led by rookie Nathan Peterman in garbage time.’
Buffalo Bills Week 10 Report Card: Mark Ingram, Saints clobber Bills 47-10
‘For those who argue that Tyrod Taylor isn’t the answer at quarterback, this is a game that helps make that case. Taylor didn’t stretch the field and settled for checkdowns too often. The throws over the middle to Mike Tolbert on third and long were painful to watch. He hasn’t played this poorly in awhile. This was a game that makes you question whether he’s the long-term answer at quarterback.’
Saints run it down the Bills’ throats
‘In said manners, the Saints utterly obliterated the Buffalo Bills on Sunday at New Era Field — by a 47-10 score that, believe it or not, doesn’t fully represent the Saints’ dominance. First downs gained is a fairer measure, and New Orleans had 32; Buffalo, five. A single-game first-downs differential of 27 is as staggering as it is rare.’

Sizzling Saints trample Bills with six rushing TDs in seventh straight win
‘“We got beat physically,” Bills defensive tackle Kyle Williams said. “We were out of our gaps. We were not where we were supposed to be. It just snowballed into a nightmare.”’
