‘I’m going to talk about this team. I don’t know what’s been here in the past, with all due respect Sal. I just know that we come out every week, the guys work hard, they respect the process and put the time in.’

Why some Buffalo Bills weren’t surprised by Marcell Dareus trade
‘”I think it’s just guys are so locked in,” Richie Incognito said. “That went down and that may shake other teams. It won’t shake this team. We were in the midst of game prep. It happened. To be honest, we had kind of felt this coming for a while. It happened, we moved on and went out and played a hell of a game and got over it.”‘
Playoff-o-Meter: Raiders’ ‘poo butt’ effort increases Buffalo Bills’ playoff chances
‘Following Buffalo’s win, some Raiders players spoke out about their performance. Quarterback Derek Carr noted that Buffalo’s secondary took away ‘deep stuff.’ The secondary’s performance was more impressive when you consider that they were without a starting cornerback and safety.’
Bills vs. Raiders: Buffalo looks like legit playoff contender (9 observations)
‘This Bills team stood tall and kept Derek Carr in a funk for much of the afternoon.’
Should Buffalo Bills trade Cordy Glenn to Seahawks for Jimmy Graham?
‘Graham, who turns 31 this season, might not be enough to acquire Glenn, who is 28 years old and still playing at a high level. However, the Bills have made an effort to clean up their salary cap. Glenn’s contract runs through the 2020 season and has cap hits of $11.25 million, $9.25 million and $9.5 million in the next three seasons.’
Buffalo Bills LB Preston Brown arrives to New Era Field in Halloween spirit
‘Brown was shown arriving at New Era Field on Sunday donning a “Where’s Waldo?” costume all the way down to the cane. Dan Fetes of WROC News captured the linebacker getting off the team bus.’
Bills vs. Raiders injury report: Jordan Poyer officially out for Buffalo
‘With Gaines and Poyer out, Shareece Wright will start at cornerback and Trae Elston will start at safety. Lafayette Pitts, who was signed this week, will be active and the team’s only backup cornerback.’
Khalil Mack expects to get a ‘W’ for Raider nation against Buffalo Bills
‘”I’m excited, man,” Mack said. “I’m excited to be amongst the Buffalo people and get a ‘W’ for Raider nation. You can write that down.”‘
LeSean McCoy quietly has big game, flips his season post-bye
‘“Since the bye, we’ve been sprinkling difference schemes, different runs, stuff that we’ve been successful with the past and this year also. The guys up front, we’ve talked about just letting them dominate the line of scrimmage.”’
5 takeaways from the Bills win over the Raiders
‘Tyrod does it again: For the second-straight week, Buffalo quarterback Tyrod Taylor looked good. Real good. Following comeback efforts against Tampa, and with the Bills win today, Taylor is now 4-16 in his career in games the Bills fall behind four points or make. Well, in the past two weeks, he’s 2-for-2. Taylor used his legs running around in the backfield, but showed an ability to keep his eyes down the field on multiple occasions throughout Sunday’s game against Oakland.’
Report card: Bills top Raiders 34-14
‘Tyrod Taylor only rushed for one yard on six carries, you’d like to see a little more out of six runs, but he was still great on his feet. Taylor used his mobility to stay on his feet while keeping his eyes down the field multiple times to complete passes, including a six-yard score to Andre Holmes. Also you’d like a little more than 165 yards, but 20-for-27 and a touchdown to go along with it. Not bad.’
Expectations are higher now: Buffalo is a playoff contender
‘With four of the remaining nine games being against the New York Jets (3-5), the Indianapolis Colts (2-6) and two games versus the Miami Dolphins (4-3, who just got drubbed 40-0 against the Ravens), it’s easier to Billieve than doubt.’
Buffalo Bills Week 8 Report Card: LeSean McCoy, Matt Milano leads Bills to 34-14 win
‘Tyrod Taylor didn’t put up big numbers. He finished the day with 165 passing yards and a touchdown. He also had a rushing touchdown on a quarterback sneak to begin the fourth quarter. His 36-yard pass to Andre Holmes showed his poise in the pocket. He is a big reason why the Bills are 5-2 this season. He’s not Tom Brady or Drew Brees, but he doesn’t need to be. He has his own skill set that helps the Bills succeed.’
Cold, hard truth: these Raiders aren’t good
‘What was great, especially by Taylor’s previous high-water marks, is that with Raiders pass rushers content to merely contain Taylor, closing off his scrambling lanes and making him throw, he threw — and fabulously. And made the Raiders pass coverage pay dearly, time and again.’
