'Donald Jones: The one thing that I have learned playing football was sometimes you are good, and other times you are lucky. A wise man once said good teams create their own luck. In Week 3 the Bills got a little lucky with a questionable call when Von Miller stuck his hand out as if to help Tyrod up off the ground. He then pulled his hand away like the old ‘too slow’ move which my son does to me all the time. The ref threw the flag for a personal foul. It was a huge call because it kept a drive going which helped the Bills put the game away. I will never forget that call.'

'“The main thing was feet,” said Brown. “You could show him a play whether he was blocking or tackling where he would make contact with somebody and his feet would stop. The thing I was trying to teach him and I exaggerated a little bit, but I said, ‘That’s why they call the game football because you’re supposed to play with your feet. Your feet are supposed to move through the ball carrier or through the block.’'

'“We thought last week we could push the ball down field a little more, on some of the things they showed on film throughout the week,” he said. “Wasn’t able to connect on as many of them as we wanted to. That’s definitely something to show other teams that were still trying to push the ball down the field.”'

'“They’re converting (41 percent), and (Taylor) has probably run for half of their first downs,” he said. “(Taylor) delivers the ball on time when he’s in the pocket. And, when he’s out of the pocket, he’s been able to pick up the first down and keep them moving down the field.”'

As the game progressed, he became more confident.”'

'McDermott said center Eric Wood and defensive tackle Kyle Williams have reminded their teammates of what happened the last time the Bills were flying high before a game at Cincinnati. That was in 2011, when the Bills were 3-0 and proceeded to suffer a 23-20 loss to the Bengals, who had been 1-2.'

'But there was more to discuss, much more, considering all the positive energy funneling into the Bills and Sabres over the past week. In a three-day span, the Bills improved to 3-1 and were alone in first place in the AFC East, and the Sabres made the biggest financial commitment to a player in franchise history.'

'Because Dareus only played 22 snaps against the Falcons, I figured the game provided a good opportunity to describe what he did on every play he was on the field without the list being too long…'.

'Of the 76 cornerbacks who've played at least 150 snaps thus far in the 2017 season, White owns the highest overall grade and has the fourth-highest overall coverage grade among those corners.'
