Bills Life: This just in: Preston Brown’s Playbook
'Preston’s Playbook kicked off at Niagara Falls Wheatfield High School, where he visited the varsity football team following practice. After getting to know the young players, and providing insight on balancing football and maintaining a good GPA, he knew he wanted to do more to help their team. Brown donated stadium lights to their field so that next week the team can host their very first night game.'
Bills players get out and Play 60 with local elementary school
'Tuesday, Oct. 3, proved to be the perfect day for the Buffalo Bills, Independent Health Foundation, and the Buffalo Niagara American Heart Association to launch the Play 60 Challenge and Fitness for Kids Challenge. The programs, which launched in over five hundred classrooms in the area, aim to encourage children between grades two and five to participate in at least 60 minutes of physical activity a day, while also encouraging healthy nutritional choices.'
Bills Roundtable: Signature moments from the 2017 season thus far
'Donald Jones: The one thing that I have learned playing football was sometimes you are good, and other times you are lucky. A wise man once said good teams create their own luck. In Week 3 the Bills got a little lucky with a questionable call when Von Miller stuck his hand out as if to help Tyrod up off the ground. He then pulled his hand away like the old ‘too slow’ move which my son does to me all the time. The ref threw the flag for a personal foul. It was a huge call because it kept a drive going which helped the Bills put the game away. I will never forget that call.'
Preston & Mike Brown: A father-son football story
'“The main thing was feet,” said Brown. “You could show him a play whether he was blocking or tackling where he would make contact with somebody and his feet would stop. The thing I was trying to teach him and I exaggerated a little bit, but I said, ‘That’s why they call the game football because you’re supposed to play with your feet. Your feet are supposed to move through the ball carrier or through the block.’'
Bills Today: Taylor taking more shots downfield
'“We thought last week we could push the ball down field a little more, on some of the things they showed on film throughout the week,” he said. “Wasn’t able to connect on as many of them as we wanted to. That’s definitely something to show other teams that were still trying to push the ball down the field.”'
