'But on the field, it’s the same old. Last week, the Bills had 10 total penalties for 106 yards. Buffalo topped the 100-yard plateau for the second-straight game with 15 total for 131 yards. Of those, eight came during the first quarter when starters were on the field.'

'Oh boy, quarterback Tyrod Taylor did not look good in the slightest.'

'“I’m pretty happy that he switched me over. It worked out well,” Streater said. “I feel like I still have that physical mentality. I used to like to hit people, and I kind of still do. In the running game I like to run in there and get dirty with the safeties. Playing defense helped me understand coverages a lot more. Now that I’m at wide receiver I can kind of look at the safeties and see what the coverage is before the ball is snapped.”'

'This time it was Buffalo wide receiver Rod Streater down with teammates huddled around him, Streater in pain after suffering what the Bills said was a foot injury. Streater, 29, from Burlington Township, played for Temple. He is a former Raider, Chief and 49er.'

'“Right now I’m just trying to get back into the game, knocking off some rust,” McCoy said in the visitors locker room. “This was actually the first time that I got hit in either drills or a game. It was good … I thought overall we played OK today. I think we’re going to build on it and be ready for Week 1.”'

'"It's always special to get back to Philly," McCoy said. "This is my home, and the fans and this organization was great to me since I got here when I was 20 years old, so this is always going to be something special for me."'

'If McCoy pays the full price of $14.90 for his 200 orders Thursday, the bill will come out to $2,980. If he tips the same percentage he did back in 2014, he will leave an extra $9.66. If he tips a more respectable 20 percent, it would come out to about $600.'

'The Bills were hurt severely by penalties all game long and they had a whopping 13 for 91 yards after the third quarter alone and a total of 15 for 131 yards.'

'The Bills offense struggled from the start, with Tyrod Taylor throwing two interceptions in the first four drives of the game. The team, as a whole, also took too many penalties, accounting for 15 flags for 131 yards.'

'There’s no getting around, hiding, or excusing how poorly the Bills starting quarterback played. He missed throws, had others batted, and was sacked and intercepted multiple times each. It wasn’t a good night at all for Taylor and, subsequently, the starting offense. Taylor’s final stat line: 8-for-18 (44%) for 53 yards, no TDs, and two interceptions. His finished with a QB rating of 12.'

'Nathan Peterman, getting his chance to play with the 2nd team offense, picked up where he left off last week. He finished 10-of-20 with 167 yards.'

'They’re asking Taylor to be quite a pocket passer, and that hasn’t been a strength over his two years of starting, so we’ll see fairly quickly into the regular season if this continues as to whether he’s going to sink or swim with offensive coordinator Rick Dennison.'

'But Mabin committed a pass interference call on the ensuing Eagles possession in the end zone gave Philadelphia the win as Byron Marshall scored from a yard out with three minutes left to lift the Eagles to a 20-16 win.'
