'Clay/ Glenn injury updates: Left tackle Cordy Glenn has been significantly limited during the early parts of camp. Glenn said on one of the first days that he felt fine, but apparently that's not the case. Glenn missed Thursday's session and head coach Sean McDermott expressed his concern for Glenn and his ankle injury. Charles Clay also had a rest day, his second of camp. McDermott appeared to be less concerned about his tight end, but it's still noteworthy that Clay has had two days off in a week's worth of practices. Also missing practice were Ian Seau, Greg Mabin, Colt Anderson, and Micah Hyde as a precautionary measure after he hit the ground hard on Wednesday.'

Taylor wants the offense to be on the same page
'"I'm becoming more comfortable [with the offense] each and everyday," Taylor said with Howard Simon and Jeremy White from Bills training camp on Thursday. "This is my second time working with coach Dennison, and I believe here we have a bunch of guys that fit this offense very well. He does a good job as far as getting the ball to our playmakers. That's one thing we've been focusing on throughout this training camp is getting guys certain looks, and allowing them to go out there and make plays in the best situation possible."'
Hodges, Streater getting noticed as Bills wrap up week at Fisher
'The team mostly practiced on the smaller, side field, generally reserved for individual position work. McDermott said he wanted to give the main grass field a bit of a break since they have only practiced there and not on the turf field at all so far during camp.'
McDermott wants his team to play with an aggressive mindset
'"Every day, you get a little bit further along. The scale moves a little closer to the end result in terms of determining of who our 53 will be," McDermott said with Howard Simon and Jeremy White on Thursday from training camp at St. John Fisher College. "We're going on a journey, and we want to make sure that the [we know] the guys that are in the boat with us [in and out]. Not only the skill set on the field, but how much they want it. That's important. We're going to face some adversity, every team does. It's how long a group of men and women can stay together that determines how high they go and how far they'll go."'
Joe B: 7 Buffalo Bills training camp observations, Day 7 (8/3/17)
'Defensive end Eddie Yarbrough started training camp with the third-team defense and made multiple big plays on each one of the first four practices. The Bills rewarded him on Day 5 by bumping him up to the second-team defense, and Yarbrough continued to make splash plays over the next two days. And on Thursday, when they wanted to give Shaq Lawson some rest near the end of practice, Yarbrough got an opportunity few saw coming when camp first started — he was working with the first-team offense, and he once again made big plays.'
Tough guys on the field, touching hearts post-practice
'Saturday, July 29 was a special day for many of the children who made it out to Bills Training Camp, presented by Connors & Ferris, but especially Jack Frost, the self-proclaimed “Bills Encyclopedia.” Frost woke up on Saturday, hopped out of his Bills-themed bed, put on his jersey, and anxiously awaited the opportunity to watch his favorite team practice. In between listing stats, Frost mentioned that he hoped to meet Bills new Head Coach, Sean McDermott. Lucky for Frost, his dream became a reality when he not only had a chance following practice to discuss the Bills upcoming season with Coach McDermott, but also received signatures from some of his favorite players.'
Top 3 things to know from Day 7 at Bills Camp
'Buffalo’s three offensive units got a chance to go against the defensive groups at the end of practice Thursday and put a scoring drive together. Typically in practice the first unit goes for three reps and rotates out for the second unit and so on. On Thursday they each went as long as they could keep moving the chains for a fresh set of downs.'
Brown, Clay, Glenn, Hyde sit out practice
'“Charles Clay will be held out today for a veteran day off,” said head coach Sean McDermott. “As you’ve seen us do before with Charles’ schedule we’re being proactive on his situation there.'
Bills Today: Players share life stories to build bond
'“Each and every day, we have a guy that comes up and tells the whole team his story,” said White. “He tells us the way he came up and the things he went through. You would never know the people in those pads until you come into our meeting room, and when guys begin to become vulnerable in front of a whole group of men, that’s a big deal. I feel like that’s building this team day-by-day.”'
