'McDermott definitely has some work to do. As great as the 1990s Bills were, the organization has been to the playoffs just four times since its last Super Bowl appearance — and zero times since the "Music City Miracle" in January of 2000.'

'There is a different kind of opportunity on Buffalo’s roster this season. With a brand new head coach and staff, they’re not beholden to any player that has been on the 53-man roster in the past. Their new offensive and defensive schemes will also demand some different skill sets to what was preferred last season. All this could improve the chances of some of the Bills least known players. Here’s a look now at some of the names that could surprise with a strong training camp.'

'Players in the NBA, NHL and Major League Baseball all have fully guaranteed contracts. That's not the case in the NFL. Outside of rookie deals, which are generally lower — especially for those drafted outside the top half of the first round — only a portion of NFL contracts are guaranteed.'

'He said after he was drafted by the Bills that he had learned from his solicitation arrest, but taking a gun to a water park would indicate that does not appear to be the case. It's baffling why Washington would even pack a gun with his towel and sunscreen, and even more puzzling why he would allegedly display a gun while sitting in his car just feet away from police officers.'

'Micah Hyde was a nice signing, and first-round CB Tre'Davious White projects as a solid starter even if he may not have the ceiling of departed Stephon Gilmore. Still, in the midst of a defensive overhaul, expect significant issues.'

'Alexander was one of the starting linebackers during minicamp. The multi-dimensional skill set of Alexander lends the possibility that the Bills will try to use him in many different situations, including special teams. Alexander has shown he can effectively stop the run, totaling 76 tackles last season, and rush the passer. This means he could certainly be an effective outside linebacker.'

'"I mean you got Zay Jones who's a rookie, we've seen where Sammy Watkins has struggled to stay healthy. Andre Holmes comes from Oakland. I just think he'd be a great signing in Buffalo."'

'Entering his second season, Washington was expected to compete for the No. 3 defensive tackle job against Jerel Worthy.'

'Washington, a second-year NFL player and a distinguished football and basketball player at Taft High School in Cincinnati, is accused of improperly carrying a concealed firearm near the Splash Park at 11320 Chester Road.'

'"I'm feeling good," Ragland said on Saturday. "At OTAs, I did the last two practices, and then at mandatory minicamp, I did the last three practices. So I'm steadily coming back slowly but surely, but I've got to make sure my leg is still keeping strong."'
