'"I’m fortunate to have a lot of great grasp with him," White said. "He’s a guy who played a lot of different positions in Green Bay, so he’s sort of a guy that I can pretty much go to in any aspect of the defense, just from a nickel standpoint or a safety standpoint, knowing where my hip is and just knowing that that guy is going to be able to talk because (he) knows pretty much everything that’s going on on the field."'

Tre'Davious White learning challenges of NFL and fatherhood at Bills' camp
'"So my back has always tended to be towards the quarterback," White said. "Now, I've got to kind of zone-turn a little bit more than usual. So it's something that I'm definitely getting used to. I've been working on it after practice and working on it in practice. And I feel like I'm getting better and better, and" as "I continue to work, I'll master it."'
What we learned at Bills camp: Day Four
'Charles Clay gets a breather. The Bills elected to give the veteran tight end a day off Sunday. Clay had been a full participant during the first three practices of training camp. During the spring, coach Sean McDermott admitted that the team is concerned about the condition of Clay's knee, which has been an issue for years.'
What They Said: Bills S Hyde, WR Jones & CB White
'I think every day we’re going to add stuff to it. I think even when the regular season comes, we’re going to add more stuff to it. So every day, a lot more stuff is thrown on our plate and that’s what the studying and stuff [is" target="_blank"> for. We’re staying in these dorms for a reason, so we can get this studying in. I’m trying to sleep at night and I can hear people playing music. Hopefully, they’re up studying and listening to music, so that’s good.'
Jerry Sullivan: Let's play a game of 10 pressing NFL questions
'A side question: Will the Bills rue not hiring Lynn as their guy and turning to Sean McDermott instead? The Bills play at the 30,000-seat StubHub Center, the Chargers' temporary home, on Nov. 19 in a clash of first-time head coaches.'
Bills will be patient as rookie QB Nathan Peterman transitions to NFL
'These are the ups and downs and all arounds that Peterman has faced during this first week of training camp, the same cornucopia of results he produced during the OTA and mini-camp phases of the offseason program in the spring, all of which is perfectly normal, almost expected, from a rookie quarterback.'
Bills change up the fan training camp experience, and the faithful bring optimism
'“Some of the changes this year (have been) enhancing the fan experience and providing additional space for the fan interactive elements,” said camp operations manager Andy Major. “We moved our fan experience to the Dorsey (Hall) parking lot area near the merchandise tent … (fans) wanted more things to be closer to the team store tent where the restrooms are located, and where all the concessions are located.”'
Bills fans have faith in quarterback Tyrod Taylor
'"They are finally doing that this year. We need receivers, players who can gain more than four yards on dump off (passes). Tyrod is the first quarterback we've had since (Doug) Flutie who can throw the ball a little bit."'
Buffalo Bills' Micah Hyde compares rookie Tre White to former Pro Bowl CB
'"Oh, Tre's a beast, man," Hyde said. "He's good. He's real good. He's making plays on the ball, he's all over the place. That guy's going to be really good. I see plays from guys in the past (that are) splitting images of him. Sam Shields – I played with him in the past – he reminds me of Sam Shields and that's a Pro Bowl player so Tre has a knack for football."'
Buffalo Bills training camp day 4: Zay Jones, Mike Tolbert stand out (15 observations)
'It took a few days, but the Toldozer finally got rolling on Sunday. Newly signed running back Mike Tolbert ripped off three big runs on Sunday and got some reps with the first-team offense. He's not the player anyone wants to meet in the hole and he's a nice change of pace from LeSean McCoy.'
Lorenzo Alexander's passion causes an inner struggle for Bills Pro Bowl LB
'"It's blue collar," Alexander said. "I think it's something people overlook in our game.'
Big day for Shady: 5 observations from Day 4 of Buffalo Bills training camp on Sunday
'Shady's strongest day: It's widely known the Bills will lean on the running game and LeSean McCoy in 2017. McCoy had his best practice of camp breaking off two long runs during 11-on-11 drills. On both, McCoy made his signature quick cut in the backfield, making a defender miss badly, before flying up the field. During 7-on-7 drills, McCoy also looked strong, beating Preston Brown badly on a route up the middle. Not many can cover Shady's elusiveness thought, so don't feel worried about Brown.'
Vallejo moving up LB depth chart, Ragland remains backup in middle
'Rookie Tanner Vallejo got reps as both the starting SLB (in place of Lorenzo Alexander) and backup WLB behind Ramon Humber. Speaking with members of the coaching staff, they’d like all LBs to be able know all the LB spots, even if they don’t play them, but have been impressed with Vallejo’s ability to pick up the scheme and his versatility to put it to use.'
Joe B: 7 Buffalo Bills training camp observations, Day 4 (7/30/17)
'Through the first three days of training camp, Tyrod was solid but unspectacular. There haven’t been many times where you notice the team’s starting quarterback for good or bad reasons. He was just kind of there… which can be explained by everyone on the offensive side of the ball trying to get acclimated to a new offensive scheme. That said, Taylor was just flat missing the things that he could control during Sunday’s practice.'
Bills defense not 'dumbed down'
'“We haven’t necessarily dumbed it down but it’s not going to mentally tax them to the point where they’re not able to focus and go out and play the way they need to play.”'
