'Officially, the word from the Bills is that Glenn is “week to week” with an ankle injury. Given that the team has just two more practices before taking about six weeks off, it’s a safe bet that the next time Glenn takes the practice field, it will be at St. John Fisher College during training camp.'

Bills notebook: Sammy Watkins makes more progress
'"It was just really, Sammy was in a position, going into practice, where he felt in a good place," coach Sean McDermott told reporters. "Last week it was individual, and he built a nice foundation last week. And the pitch count" Tuesday "was right around four or five reps of team drills, and he did a nice job."'

Sammy Watkins gets on the field as Bills start mandatory mini-camp
'“The foundation was built last week with the individual period and then today he was able to put some reps on top of the individual period which was good to see,” said McDermott.'
Buffalo Bills release tight end Blake Annen
'After releasing Annen, the Bills are now left with six tight ends on their roster. Among them, Charles Clay is the only player who should be considered a lock for Buffalo's final 53-man roster. The other tight ends on the roster are Nick O'Leary, former quarterback Logan Thomas, Jason Croom, Keith Towbridge and Wes Saxton.'
What Buffalo Bills coach Sean McDermott said about pursuing WR Eric Decker
'"Well, until that comes through via the league, we can't really discuss that – we're always going to look," said McDermott. "We're always going to look to add at every position – adding competition is healthy, and there's positions that perceptually some may say 'hey check the box, they're good' – well, we're always going to look to add, even at those positions. That's the pursuit of winning – that we have to stay hungry."'
Bills, move on from Maclin, still confident in WR core
'"Definitely think we're taking steps in the right direction. Sammy getting out there taking some reps today, Zay out there for the second week in a row getting reps, and even Dre still making plays. I think we're coming together nicely," Taylor said.'
5 observations from Bills minicamp on Tuesday
'By our count, Tyrod Taylor had a Tyrod-like day.'
The times they are a-changing for Marcell Dareus
' "He carries himself differently, with more of a purpose," Hughes said. "The way he comes in meetings and how he interacts with the other guys and how he passes on his wisdom to the younger players is the type of person you want on your team. He often tells the younger guys to not only be like him but strive to be better. This attitude all transpired after his trip to Haiti."'
Bills being 'smart' with WR Watkins
'Watkins had been doing nothing on the field during the OTA segments as he spent the bulk of his time in the training room doing rehab exercises. Last week, he was able to participate briefly in some of the individual drills, running routes and catching passes, but once the Bills went into 7-on-7 and 11-on-11 team work, Watkins sat out.'
Sammy takes team reps for first time, Lawson impressive as Bills open minicamp
'McDermott said he doesn’t know how long McCoy will be out with his stomach bug, but added “the important thing is that we get him hydrated and in a position where he can perform.”'
With Gillislee gone and McCoy out, Williams gets shot as top RB in Bills offense
'“This is something that could happen during the season,” Williams said about his sudden opportunity. “You never know with the running back position, you know how physical it is. It could be an injury, or it could be an illness or something like that and the guys have to step up. So this is an opportunity for me to get used to maybe having to do that one day, one game.”'
Bills' Crossman continues to lead special teams
'Crossman is the only coach held over from a pretty bad staff led by the Ryan brothers. He said, “It’s been outstanding so far. You never hope for change. Change is a part of this business, but the group that Sean has established here with this coaching staff. Everybody’s been outstanding to work with, great backgrounds, great history. Lot of different roles a lot these guys have done so it’s really made it enjoyable for me moving forward.”'
Bills release tight end Annen
'Annen never played a regular season game with the Bills after spending some time with the Philadelphia Eagles, Chicago Bears, New Orleans Saints and Green Bay Packers. He started his career as an undrafted free agent out of Cincinnati with the Eagles in 2014.'
Buffalo Bills WR Sammy Watkins takes another step in rehab process
'We always have to do things in certain ways so that way we put ourselves into position to succeed, and rehab is no different when you have a player in this situation — and this situation we want to make sure we’ve dotted the ‘Is’ and crossed the ‘Ts’ — and in this case he’s worked, he just hasn’t been here. He’s worked extremely hard in the training room, attacking the rehab process… and these last couple of weeks we’ve been able to get him on the field. A credit to Sammy and our training staff.'
