'Although it'd be tough to pass on Allen, the Bills would likely look to trade down if McGuinness' mock draft came to fruition. In addition to Allen, prospects such as Malik Hooker, Jamal Adams, O.J. Howard, Corey Davis and Solomon Thomas were all available at pick 10. Buffalo could move down a few spots and still land one of these prospects while also adding additional draft picks.'

'However, the Bills are obviously doing their homework. Dismiss it as a smokescreen if you want to, but McDermott has said from day one that he's going to be thorough and methodical in every aspect of running this team. He wouldn't be doing his job if he didn't get a close look at the best quarterbacks in this class. What if he's enamored with one or more of the quarterbacks in this draft? That quarterback could sit behind Taylor and take over in 2017 if the team cuts Taylor loose.'

'"Mahomes throws the best deep ball, is the most accurate deep passer in this class and made some throws from launch points that I honestly can never remember seeing, like almost submarine throws and sidearms and body 100 mph falling off balance to the right throwing back to the left. Bad decisions, but great throws. So, his tape was a roller-coaster ride.'
