Considering Jones has only been in the NFL for one year so far, the odds would be against the Bills cutting ties with him in favor of a journeyman third stringer that was out of the league for almost the entire season in 2016.'

'He has the aforementioned mobility, the ability to keep his eyes downfield while scrambling, and he can really drive the ball outside the numbers on the short-to-intermediate throws. Those touch-and-timing throws are something that likely has NFL types thinking about what he can develop into.'

'Yates, 29, is a former fifth-round pick of the Houston Texans (2011) and played his first three NFL seasons there. After spending the 2014 season with Atlanta he re-signed with the Texans in 2015 before playing last season with Miami.'

'Seau, 24, joined the NFL as an undrafted free agent in 2016 with the Los Angeles Rams where he played for current Bills defensive line coach Mike Waufle. He was released by the Rams on September 3, 2016. Seau is the nephew of Pro Football Hall of Fame linebacker Junior Seau. Ian Seau played his college football at Nevada where he tallied 100 tackles, 31.0 tackles for loss and 17.5 sacks and seven forced fumbles. At Nevada, Seau played for current Bills assistant defensive line coach Bill Teerlinck.'
