'The Bills must keep Thomas on their 53-man roster for the next three weeks because he was signed off another team's practice squad. He will likely serve as the Bills' third tight end behind starter Charles Clay and backup Nick O'Leary.'

'Lewis has been a member of the Bills' practice squad for almost two seasons, and was activated for one game last season. He has zero catches in his brief NFL career. Coleman, a 2014 undrafted free agent, has played in five NFL games in his career, all with the Miami Dolphins.'

'It continues to be a complex issue when it comes to Henderson who continues his battle with Crohn's Disease.'

'The suspension is likely tied to the use of marijuana, which NFL.com's Ian Rapoport reported that Henderson has been using to deal with the pain of his ongoing battle with Crohn's disease. The report also said that Henderson might choose to sue the NFL over the suspension.'

'Lest I be accused of being too negative, I’ll say that I’m happy the Bills won – a win is a win, even if it has warts. Fans were treated to the plays they’ve wanted to see all season long: the bomb to Sammy Watkins, the breakaway touchdown by LeSean McCoy, the heads-up scrambling of Tyrod Taylor. I know I was on my feet for those plays – it’s why I watch the Bills.'

'Bryant has missed the last three games with a shoulder injury suffered in the Week 8 loss to New England. The team’s medical staff obviously felt it was better to shut Bryant down for the remainder of the season rather than try to rehab the injury to get him back on the field. Bryant was instrumental in spelling Marcell Dareus at the nose tackle position while he was serving a league-imposed four game suspension, and then missed more time with hamstring and groin injuries.'

'Henderson’s suspension begins immediately. He will be eligible to participate in all offseason and preseason practices and games.'

'With Buffalo’s run game largely stuck in neutral, the Bills chose to go for it on a 4th-and-1 at the Jaguars 13-yard line with one minute left in the half. We don’t know for sure if the design of the play was for Jonathan Williams to follow fullback Jerome Feltonthrough the hole on the right side of Buffalo’s formation. But it was clear that Williams immediately saw the backside hole created by Cordy Glenn and Nick O’Leary on the left side as he took a direct line there on his carry.'

'“I think so,” said Ryan of more playing time for Hunter. “All he does is catch touchdowns. I remember that quote. Just like we had T-D Mike (Gillislee), now we’ve got TD Hunter, touchdown Hunter. He gives us a huge red zone threat, but also I think he does warrant more playing time. With some of the injuries we have there’s no reason he shouldn’t be able to play more.”'

'“It’s aggressive (and) we’re really good in the red zone,” he admitted. “But, even though the numbers are what they are (these two years with the longer attempts), I still feel pretty good about kicking an extra point, even though we missed (Sunday).”'

'“That is an area in particular we have got to get better at,” Ryan said Monday. “We already studied where we are failing in the red zone. We would actually I think be amongst the leaders in the league from around the 20 all the way down into the 5, but it’s inside the 5 they scored 12 times in 22 plays.”'
