'“After dealing with the earthquake and now the hurricane, it’s like Haiti can’t catch a break,” Douzable said. “There were so many houses that were built out of tents, and they were only supposed to be temporary houses. But people ended up having to stay there just because of the poverty rate and people didn’t have money to build sustainable houses. Just imagine a hurricane 4 or 5 ripping through a little tent, and that’s what you’re living in.”'
