If you want a sign of the team's level of commitment in 2016, Ryan gave the Bills a second straight "Victory Monday" after being the Patriots. However, players didn't take the day off after the Cardinals and again decided not to on Monday. Ryan said he thinks the Bills were at 100 percent attendance on both days.'

'"We had a horrendous day, Week 2," Ryan said. "Our defense played poorly and wasn't what we were expecting by any stretch of the imagination. This is more the type of team we expected and we've just got to stay the course.'

"And we're not going to get too high with this win. We've won the past couple weeks because of our preparation and being able to execute our game plan."'
