'The Bills defense was no match for Tom Brady. The Patriots sliced their way through Buffalo with almost no resistance, and Brady threw TD passes of nine yards to Danny Amendola and 53 yards to ex-Bill Chris Hogan who burned Bills’ CB Stephon Gilmore clean.'

'That wasn’t Jacoby Brissett out there Sunday afternoon, that was a guy you might have heard of, name of Tom Brady, playing quarterback for the Patriots. And that wasn’t Rob Gronkowski playing on one healthy hamstring like he did the last time these teams played, it was full-blown Gronk, the baddest man on the planet. This was the real Patriots, the dynastic Patriots, and the gap between Buffalo and New England has rarely been wider. There’s no end in sight to the Bills’ misery. Until No. 12 retires, and takes Bill Belichick with him, the Bills basically have no chance when the Patriots play their A-team.'

'"Oh man, I feel like a player coming off the streets right now man. Sore as hell."'

I think you talk about the talent of your team, we got to get them all healthy and then we'll probably be able to evaluate this team a little bit better."'

'Gilmore jammed Hogan, a former Bill, at the line of scrimmage before running with him down the sideline. Patriots quarterback Tom Brady delivered a perfect pass which Hogan caught in stride. Gilmore was a step behind him but instead of attempting to tackling Hogan a few yards shy of the end zone, he turned to Bills safety Jonathan Meeks to yell at him.'

'The Patriots had no problem doing that on their first drive and throughout the day.'

'Quarterback Tyrod Taylor led a lackluster offensive performance for the Bills, which included Taylor going 19-for-38, 183 yards passing with another 48 yards and a touchdown rushing the ball.'

'The Bills might limp across the country to Seattle (4-2-1) following the loss to the Patriots (7-1), but the second half of the season will kick off on Monday Night Football from the Pacific Coast next week.'

'It's easy to say the Bills should have run the ball more, and they quite honestly probably should have, especially since, as a team, they averaged 7 yards a carry in the first half, when they were still in the game and should have been trying to control the clock. Instead they handed the ball off just 13 times while Tyrod Taylor finished the first 30 minutes 10 of 23 for 100 yards.'
