The Bills defense swarmed rookie third string quarterback Jacoby Brissett all day long as they handed the Patriots their first ever shutout at Gillette Stadium 16-0. The victory was the second straight for Buffalo and pulled them to within a game of first place and in sole possession of 2nd place in the AFC East. Tyrod Taylor hit LeSean McCoy for a 7 yard touchdown on the opening series and Dan Carpenter added three field goals as the Bills controlled the game from the start.
