'But the large crowd at St. John Fisher got to enjoy some extra autograph time on the back end of practice. They also got to enjoy some big hits from Aaron Williams.'

'"I really didn't know what to expect when I saw the hit," Williams said. "Honestly, when I saw him go to the sidelines, I was like 'Ok, this is it'. In my head, I'm talking to myself while the play is going. It was a cool experience. I'm glad I'm finally through it."'

'"We hope like heck Reggie will be available to us," said Ryan. "He is a heck of a football player. He’s one of those 150-tackles-in-a-season type guy. That loss would be a big one for us, but hopefully he’ll be alright."'

'“We lost three linebackers. We’re only down to three linebackers today for the scrimmage, the inside backers” Ryan said. “We are just so down and we want to make sure we are taking care of our players.”'

'“We are definitely concerned over the knee. We don’t have any specifics for you yet. Quite honestly we have to get the swelling out of there before we know exactly what it is. So how ever long that takes, we’re not real sure. With that being said, with a knee there is a lot of concern,” Ryan said.'

'"I don’t know if he hyperextended it, I’m not sure, but it just looked odd," the coach said. "He wasn’t hit, none of that stuff. But sometimes those can be the worst ones, so I’m hoping. We’ve just got to keep our fingers crossed and hope he’s fine."'

'"I can't let that affect my day-to-day preparation," Taylor said following practice. "I've said that since Day One. When training camp started, my focus is on football and doing what I have to do to get myself ready and get this team ready to win football games this year."'

'“More so learning my guys, getting reps with them, being more consistent with them and learning how to apply each different footwork to each different route.” Jones said. “I’ve still got a couple overthrows and things like that. That will come with time. Keep practicing, keep getting to know guys.”'

'“It was a neat moment. It was a historic moment for me,” Robey-Coleman said of seeing his new jersey for the first time. “This name is going to go on through my whole NFL career. It’s going to carry on to my kids, whether I have sons or daughters. Maybe they’ll play in the NFL, or they’ll go to college and compete there. I wanted to make it their name now.”'

'During the short-yardage portion of practice, running back James Wilder Jr. was taken to the ground. That got the offensive line upset, with center Fernando Velasco getting into it with defensive end Max Valles, among others.'

'And then we had (Jerel) Worthy went out and that was more of a precautionary, for concussion, that protocol, and he was actually able to come back and continue practice.'

'“I’m not sure of the extent of that injury, but we’ll obviously, we’ll be very concerned with that injury,” Ryan said. “Hopefully right now it doesn’t appear to be with the ligaments involved.”'

'Seems a bit hard to believe, but let’s give the Bills quarterback the benefit of the doubt when he says, "I can't let that affect my day-to-day preparation. I've said that since Day One. 'The case is easier to make for Gilmore. This year will be Gilmore's fifth NFL season and he has proved he is an upper-echelon cornerback. As the NFL evolves into more of a passing league, the positions in the secondary are becoming more important. And in Rex Ryan's defense, where more pressure is put on corners in man-coverage, Gilmore is one of the most important defensive players on the team.'

'It's becoming more and more obvious that whether or not the Ryan brothers are successful on the football field, they certainly have a future on television if they want to go in that directions.'
