'“If you look at it, the numbers are pointing to the fact that a lot of guys get in trouble in off-seasons after their first year, up until about their fourth year,” Whaley said. “So if the NFL and NFLPA can come together and create a program just to keep those guys engaged, and in a structured environment, I don’t think that would hurt.”'

'McCoy had not spoken to western New York reporters since the end of the 2015 season, so when he met the media Friday following the Bills' conditioning test, he addressed the brawl and said he learned a valuable lesson. "I had a long talk with (NFL commissioner Roger) Goodell about the incident," McCoy said. "As a leader, the guy I want to be for this team, things like that just can't happen. 'Sometimes, you might have had two or three meetings a week maybe at a small college, then here you got like two or three a day. So I think he had a tough time with that as a lot of rookies do. 'Today was “toss sweep day” for the offense. They ran a ton of toss sweeps during their team portion (not against the defense) from a lot of different formations, different motions, and varying lead blockers and ways to block it.'

But that’s not the focus for me, its never been the focus for me” Taylor said. “I’m out here to help the Bills as an organization and win football games. Help bring this community what they’ve been looking towards for years. That’s what my focus is and that’s what the team’s focus is. The contract situation will handle itself.”'
