'McCoy had not spoken to western New York reporters since the end of the 2015 season, so when he met the media Friday following the Bills' conditioning test, he addressed the brawl and said he learned a valuable lesson. "I had a long talk with (NFL commissioner Roger) Goodell about the incident," McCoy said. "As a leader, the guy I want to be for this team, things like that just can't happen. There's no excuses for it. You don't hear other guys like Peyton Manning or Tom Brady getting into incidents like that. That's over with, I'm not going to talk about it no more."'
