'When Goodwin joined the Bills as a third-round draft pick from Texas in 2013, he told reporters that he shouldn't be labeled with the stigma of a "track guy" trying to play football. He wanted to make it clear he was a football player first, which is understandable given that "track guys" are perceived as being soft and injury prone. For the record, Goodwin ended up on injured reserve during his rookie season, missed six games in 2014, and was on IR in 2015, appearing in only two games.'

'Although Whaley is careful not to publicly state that he's safe regardless of the Bills' record this season, Ryan pretty much said that was the case with himself when, during a recent interview with MMQB, he said: "The media looks at it (like), 'Well, we have to win this year.' Or what? Oh, I am going to be fired? I don't think so. I'm not going to worry about it, because we are going to win anyway. But it's like, that is an ultimatum. No."'

'That said, Goodwin might be sacrificing his football career a bit to pursue the Olympics. He's one of the receivers competing for a roster spot behind Sammy Watkins and Robert Woods, but if he qualifies for the Olympics and makes it to the finals, he won't be back at training camp until the middle of August, at which point he would have only three preseason games and a handful of camp practices to win the job.'

'Look, Jim Kelly is great. He took the Bills to four straight Super Bowls, kicked cancer's ass and continues to give back to the Western New York community. But he doesn't decide whether Ryan gets fired. Neither does Ryan for that matter. The only people who can come to that decision are Terry and Kim Pegula, and they certainly aren't going to make that call in June.'

'Jackson said he doesn't want the restaurant, which will be located at 200 Delaware Avenue and is scheduled to open in the fall, to have a normal steakhouse feel. He wants there to be more energy, and he thinks the city needs a place like it.'

'“It’s a business. Some people come and go. You have to stick with it and keep fighting,” Reddick said. “You have to do your part and not worry about anyone else.”'

'"On paper, we look great, and we should be a very good team. But you cannot go to the playoffs, you can't win championships, when you're spending most of your time in the training room (with injuries). You've got to stay healthy. Our key guys have got to stay healthy."'

'"I think Rex will probably be looking for another job," Kelly told "The Jim Rome Show" on Thursday. "I think everybody knows that, including Rex."'

'"I would definitely do track and field, man," Goodwin revealed. "Football was my opportunity to advance my life… kind of get a head start on life and put my family in a position to where they wouldn’t want for as much. I felt like track and field wouldn’t grant me that opportunity, being that I had a greater chance at making the amount of money that I do playing football, as opposed to going to track and field, and I would make it a lot sooner. Not saying I wouldn’t make it in track and field, but, I would make it pretty much at a guaranteed rate in football."'
