'"What I knew about Buffalo is that it's really cold," Striker said. "That's just from the start. And then I saw the '30 for 30' and I'm sure a lot of you reporters are from here and lived here with the whole four times in a row thing. I didn't know about that. That was like, 'Wow.' But that was a great team. To make it four times in a row to the Super Bowl in the NFL… they didn't get the job done in the Super Bowl but that was still a great team. That's what I took from it. A lot of history here. A lot of great players have been through here."'

'“Obviously, he’s got the physical gifts you look for, there’s no question about that,” Ryan said. “You notice the stature and he’s got a big arm and all that … but you also notice that he's just going through everything. It’s spinning right now. He’s throwing behind guys. He doesn’t know where he’s going right now with it.'

'"I think a lot of people have already realized that I’m not as crazy as him," Gronkowski said. "It’s not easy to be that crazy and wild but I think people are already starting to realize that. I’m a little more tame, a little more intelligent probably so I would say people are already starting to recognize that."'

'"You're going to have one of those brain freeze things," Ryan said. "If I have to repeat it, like, twice, then you know I have no idea who you're talking about."'

"Walking through this field house, I've been in here hundreds of times throughout high school and then in college, but once you put the helmet on, it's football. 'What you do though is you try to feed them probably more than they’ve had, then they’ve put in all season at their schools. So you try to give them a lot of volume just to see what guys can handle. The guys that can, you make note of it. You don’t expect them to pick it up, you expect them to ask questions and all that, but every now and then you get some guys that, boom, they just get it. So we’ll see.'

'Licata isn’t the biggest, the most mobile, nor does he have a cannon arm — but he wins with his mind. This is a player who sincerely believes in his abilities, who loves the underdog story of Kurt Warner and worked with Chad Pennington. Be it on the field or the meeting rooms, he’ll need to make a strong first impression at One Bills Drive. As he detailed, Licata is “certain” in his abilities.'

'“I’m here to do my job,” Lawson said. “They drafted me to get after the passer and because I’m the player I am. I don’t really think about Mario Williams. He was a great player here, but I’m going to come in and do what I do best.”'
