'The Philadelphia police union president John McNesby has been critical of Williams' decision and was the reason the Pennsylvania Attorney General's office opened the case. Castor is speaking for the attorney general's office because attorney general Kathleen Kane had her law license suspended last year and is facing criminal charges.'

'If the attorney general office's investigation concludes that McCoy or others should have been charged in the fight, it could ask a court to overturn Williams' decision. That would set a precedent in the state for local prosecutors' decisions being thrown out.'

'“I think it’s completely accurate to say LeSean McCoy and anyone else allegedly involved in this incident are not totally cleared,” Castor told Eyewitness News, explaining that he and AG’s office investigators had visited Central Detective Division, speaking with detectives there, examining evidence, including videos, on which the DA had based his decision.'
