'“I wanted to have a son,” Jim Kelly told the crowd. “My wife’s water broke and it was Valentine’s Day, my birthday. We went to the hospital and my wife delivered a boy on Daddy’s birthday. The game plan was already done. The script was written. Hunter would wear No. 12. Play against Chad. But my son was diagnosed with a fatal genetic disease at four months, and he lived to be eight years old. When our son died, that day was the lowest point in my life.”'

Philadelphia DA responds to police union criticism of pace of McCoy investigation
'McNesby noted that in more than 4,500 felony arrests during his career, he has "never waited this long, ever, to see somebody arrested." He went on to say that if charges weren't filed, the union would look to take the matter to the Pennsylvania Attorney General. "We'll also have our attorneys file a private criminal complaint, and we'll move in that direction," McNesby said.'

So there doesn’t need to be five changes or something on defense. I don’t believe that’s necessary.”'
Thanks to Tyrod Taylor, Bills QB situation best it's been in more than decade
'We can argue the rest of the offseason about whether Taylor is a franchise quarterback, and between now and opening day everyone will have an opinion. What can't be argued, however, is that the Bills quarterback situation is as good as it has been in over a decade.'

Sources: D.A. 'pushing back' on LeSean McCoy arrest warrant
'According to law enforcement officials, tension between the District Attorney’s office and PPD has risen over the last few days because of the delay in charging McCoy and three other men for their alleged role in a fight at Recess Lounge in Old City early on the morning of Feb. 7. Sources told CSNPhilly.com that the D.A.’s office is hesitant to issue warrants because it has questions about the conduct of the officers that evening, including that the officers did not call 9-1-1 during the incident and whether they were drinking to excess.'
High risk, high reward awaits Bills in free agent LB market
'Bradham is a free agent. He took a big step forward his third season in the league, but then, last year, took a step back. It seemed he never got comfortable in Ryan's defense. It might not really suit him very well. But he's a young, athletic linebacker. One of the fastest in the league. The team would love to have him back, especially considering the linebacker unit is already lacking depth. But they won't overpay for him. He's made it known he wants to stay, too. But he will probably hit the market, have some nice offers, then have to decide if he wants to come back to Buffalo for a shorter deal and less money.'
