'“That’s my role here — blocking receiver,” Woods said. “Get these guys going. Other teams, other roles, everything’s different. But this role here for me is to get these guys free.”'

'"If he throws for 800 yards, if that happens, I'll join my brother," said Ryan, referencing Rob who was fired by the Saints. "Brady will try to do that, you watch. There's always different things and each team goes through injuries. Do they affect you and things like that? Apparently, they're not supposed to affect our team but they're supposed to affect everybody else's. I'll leave it at that."'

'“I woke up Wednesday morning, getting ready to go to practice, and I couldn’t open my door,” defensive tackle Corbin Bryant said. “I was panicking, like ‘Oh, man, I’m going to be late.’ But then they sent out a text that said practice was canceled. Nobody could get out."'

'The Bills aren't required to release an injury report until later in the week, but Ryan all but declared that defensive tackle Kyle Williams will be out against New England. Williams has missed the past three games because of a knee injury suffered in Week Six against Cincinnati.'

'"I don't know about that, but 466 yards, I know New England is looking forward to this game," Ryan quipped.'

'"He's going to take some time and get away from it a little, which is good, but I haven't thought about that," Rex said Tuesday afternoon following the Bills' short practice at One Bills Drive as they began getting ready for the showdown against New England.'

'"I kind of knew what he wanted to do to me," Watkins said. "I kind of knew how he was playing me, what I had to do. I just trusted. That's one thing I do, I watch a lot of film on guys. We just have to trust in film and go by that film. The film don't lie."'

He's his own man, I'm my own man, and we purposely set that path. With that being said, I ain't gonna lie to you: I think it'd be pretty fun. '"Not good," Ryan said. "Syracuse played a great game. I was expecting my kid to get a little (playing time) at wideout and all that stuff, and he didn't. He still did his job and all that stuff, but I was wanting some playing time at receiver. Syracuse had other plans. They played a really good game."'

'Ryan was also asked about Brady, whose 466 passing yards in the Patriots' Week 2 win in Buffalo were the second most of his career and the most against the Bills in their franchise's history. "That one was hard to fathom. That has never happened to me before," Ryan said, adding that the Patriots are "arguably the best team in football right now" and have "the best offense in the league, with the best quarterback."'

'"I think that there are certainly a number of examples of Buffalo doing a lot of different things," Belichick said on Tuesday. "There are plenty of examples of them blitzing, there are plenty of examples of them with a three-man rush, so I think you've got to be ready for everybody to come or three guys to come and everywhere in between. When you get older, you're supposed to get worse. This dude's getting better. Like, it's sick. It's not right. I'm waiting for the wheels to fall off."'

'Wide receiver Denarius Moore wasn't at practice Tuesday after missing his flight to Buffalo. Ryan said he will be fined by the team.'

'During press conferences, it’s usually quite difficult to make Rex Ryan feel awkward when he’s fielding question. The exercise is right in his wheelhouse, but, when asked about the firing of his brother Rob Ryan as defensive coordinator of the New Orleans Saints, and whether or not he’d hire him in Buffalo, the Bills head coach wasn’t as clear and concise as normal.'
