Robey may be small, but he plays big
'It’s no scouting secret why Robey was overlooked. He's one of the smallest players in the entire NFL — one NFC scout referred to him as a “little midget” this off-season. Yet here he is, still the Bills’ nickel cornerback, primed for a critical role the last half of the season.'
Role Felton envisioned in Bills just hasn’t happened
'“Very, very, very limited opportunities. Really, it’s been one or two games where we’ve had a little bit of work in there together,” Felton said. “I came in with a certain expectation level in my own mind, and it’s been far from that. That’s probably been the most frustrating and disheartening part about it.”'
Campbell has brought his toughness to the Dolphins’ post
'“I thought it was a great move,” Clay said Thursday of the Dolphins promoting Campbell from tight ends coach after Week Four. “From my years of working with him, he’s definitely a guy who knows the game of football like the back of his hand.”'
Bills' red jerseys for next week are unveiled
'New York will be wearing Kelly Green uniforms with the Bills going all red as part of the NFL's "Color Rush" campaign.'
Tyler Dunne's three Bills thoughts: Williams' role, Taylor the leader, healthy 'O
'Tyrod Taylor, the leader. The Bills quarterback doesn't speak up often, but made a point to in Wednesday's offensive team meeting. As running back Boobie Dixon said, Taylor told the offense to stay hungry yet humble and emphasized just how important this game is. That's a good sign for this 3-4 team at the crossroads. They need leaders in the locker room to step up, and why not Taylor?'
Dolphins follow new leader
'“I’ve always been a big believer that emotion is a huge part of it,’’ Campbell said the other day via a conference call with western New York media. “Now, when I say huge, you have to keep your head about you as well. You need to play with emotion because your teammates draw off that, but at the same time, you can’t go over that line. Because when you do, it ends up costing your team with penalties. But I just think as a whole, as a team, you need to have some emotion.’’'
Greg Roman on Buffalo Bills' offense: 'I think we're behind'
'"I think everything with us has been a work in progress," Roman said. "Guys in and out of the lineup. This guy's in, this guy's out. This guy misses training camp, etc. I think we're behind, and to characterize it any other way would be me sitting up here and blowing smoke. We have to understand how important each day is that we have these guys together at practice and maximize those days to really make up for lost time."'
What Rex Ryan, Buffalo Bills are saying about playoff chances: 'The sky isn't falling'
'"For us, everything we want is still in front of us," Ryan said. "We have nine games left. The sky is not falling. And I know it. 'You're 3-4 and we expected (better).' I get it. I get it. I certainly understand where you're coming from, where fans will be coming from, the disappointments and all that stuff. But don't make the mistake of stopping believing. Don't make that mistake."'
Week 9 Preview: Dolphins at Bills
'Bills 24-23.'
Roman: Offense still behind….''but I like where it's going''
'“I like where it’s going,” he said. “I really like where it’s going. I can see some things on the practice field where things are looking like they should look. Quite frankly, throughout the first four, five, six weeks and a period of training camp we started getting back a little bit….it didn’t quite look like it was supposed to look yet. So, it’s getting there.”'
Dolphins Game Preview
'Bills 23, Dolphins 21.'
OT Henderson shrugs off challenges in return to lineup
'“It’s not a challenge at all. John is a very smart rookie. He knows the answers to all of the questions, so we’re always on point,” Henderson said. “If we mess up, that’s because we communicated too much.”'
