'For the second straight week, the Bills put together a huge rally to snatch a victory from the jaws of defeat, this time scoring 24 points in a span of 6:03 in the fourth quarter to beat the Raiders.'

'McCoy missed Week 4 with a hamstring injury, while Williams is now going through the concussion protocol after suffering a head injury against the Giants in Week 4. That left the Bills with just Boobie Dixon and Cierre Wood on the running back depth chart.'

'As of now, Boobie Dixon and Cierre Wood are the only two healthy running backs on the roster along with fullback Jerome Felton. Starting running back LeSean McCoy is still working his way back from a hamstring injury.'

'“It’s kind of like you’re playing your little brother and he gets mad at you for being too physical with him — throwing a tantrum,” Gilmore said. “I’m like, ‘Man, we’re playing football. It’s a physical game.’ … He’s a prima donna. He feels like he’s on top of the world and nobody’s supposed to do anything to him.”''

'“He’s not Sammy Watkins,’’ said Gilmore, referring to his Bills teammate. “He has good hands, he can catch. He’s good, but he’s not what people think after that one catch [against the Cowboys last season" target="_blank">. His world is based on hype and that one catch.”'

'"A guy like that, you expect him to be a stand-up guy, but I guess it is a part of his game," said Bills safety Duke Williams, who claims to have gotten punched by Beckham after Eli Manning's fourth-quarter interception. "He likes to throw cheap shots here and there and gets away with it. I guess it's his thing."'

'Gilmore later added, "His world is based on hype and that one catch. Everybody sees that, everybody knows him for that and people don't really look at the film and watch him and really don't know what type of player he is."'

'The Bills are scrambling for running backs after they had a glut of them during training camp. Veteran Fred Jackson was cut in August, and then signed with Seattle. Buffalo also released Bryce Brown a week into the season to open a roster spot after defensive tackle Marcell Dareus returned from serving a one-game NFL suspension.'

'Williams is following the NFL's concussion protocol, and must pass a series of tests before being cleared to play. Buffalo (2-2) plays at Tennessee (1-2) on Sunday.'

'With running back LeSean McCoy also injured, the Bills hosted a workout for several players, including former first-round pick Trent Richardson, the 25-year-old bust with the Cleveland Browns, Indianapolis Colts and Oakland Raiders. Richardson was cut by the Raiders before the start of the 2015 season.'

'Beckham was not penalized on the play. He could face a fine for the swing, although the NFL will not disclose fine information from last Sunday's games until Friday.''

'Wood signed with the Bills the next day and had to play a preseason game the following night in Cleveland. He tried to get as much of the playbook down that he could in just one day. Of course, that wasn’t easy, but he finished the game with three carries for six yards and caught one pass for another ten yards. When I asked him if he was told to just “run left and run right” that night, he laughed and recalled one play when he had to pass protect for Bills QB EJ Manuel. “I didn’t know what to do,” he said. “I looked at EJ after we broke the huddle and whispered, ‘pssst, what do I do?’ EJ turned around and just said, ‘pass protect to my right.’ “'

'In the midst of the loss to the Giants you may have felt like the defense had a terrible day. It didn't. Sure the Nigel Bradham missed tackle goes as a big mark against, and the run defense could certainly improve, but for the most part, I'd say the All-22 shows a solid performance against Eli Manning and Odell Beckham Jr. OBJ is a dominant force in the league, and while the Giants attempted to establish his presence in the game, it never truly materialized. The Bills locked him up, particularly when matched against the corners on the outside.'

'Gray suffered a broken forearm in Sunday’s game against the New York Giants. He will not be able to play again this season after being placed on IR.'

'The Bills will have running backs in for a workout with only Boobie Dixon and Cierre Wood available. Whaley called former Bill and current free agent Bryce Brown "a possibility."'
