'Conspiracy theorists, unite. The Bills will be playing their second game in the first four weeks of the season against a team with extra time to prepare. '

'In Sunday's 41-14 wipeout of the listless Miami Dolphins, Rex Ryan and his staff toyed with Joe Philbin's overmatched crew and the result was a diabolical beat-down that chased fans out of Sun Life Stadium at halftime, grumbling every step of the way on a steamy late south Florida afternoon.'

'All I know is the Bills came out of a very tough opening segment of the schedule 2-1, and the loss was to the best team in the NFL. Nice start for the Rex Era.'

'The Bills had only two sacks, but that doesn't nearly tell the story. They swarmed Tannehill and had the entire Miami offense out of sync. The line got some help from blitzers, but this was a strong showing by the big guys.'

'WR Sammy Watkins suffered a calf injury in the first quarter and did not return to play.'

'This was as thorough a flogging of a division rival as the Bills, and their fans, could have possibly hoped for. Buffalo made Miami look foolish on both sides of the ball with an attacking offense and a dominant, play-making defense. A 2-1 start against this schedule is pretty good.'

'Tyrod Taylor had a bounce-back effort against the Dolphins. When Taylor plays like he did against the Dolphins, completing 21 of 29 passes for 277 yards, three touchdowns and no interceptions, Buffalo is going to be tough to beat. He still has to prove he can be consistent week-to-week and clean up some issues with pocket presence, but Taylor is becoming a reliable starting quarterback before our eyes. He might just be good enough to get this team to the playoffs.'

'"Nah, I'll tell you, he's such a weapon," Ryan said. "… If he gets a little bit back — get a little better, a little better, a little better — eventually he'll get all the way back. That would be fantastic. But man, it's so hard to (sit him). He's such a great player. (Williams) is a hoss, there's no question, but we got to do what's in the best interest of our football team and LeSean also. But just golly, he's such a good player. … If he's close … if he's at 80 percent, he's still a heck of a player."'

I loved coming here because I knew he was on the team. It's like, golly, let's get him healthy and get him to where he can be Sammy Watkins. That would be awesome."'
