'He might not have incredible numbers, but they were still very good and underscored a terrific debut for the Bills QB. What we saw from Taylor in the preseason is exactly what we saw Sunday. Good decision-making. Smart, accurate throws (14-for-19; 74%), and the athletic ability to make big plays with his legs when called upon. Taylor’s 51-yard touchdown toss to Percy Harvin (his first TD pass in the NFL) was on the money and got his team jump-started after two drives that resulted in punts to start the game. Taylor finished with 195 yards passing and added another 41 rushing. A perfect mix for what the Bills offense needs to keep defenses off-balance just enough.'

'Well after one week and one win, the returns are pretty good. Not great, but definitely trending in the right direction. Taylor looked poised, made accurate throws on time and hit on a couple of big plays. Pretty sweet recipe.'

This feels great.’ That’s what we’ve built here and the character of the men that are in that locker room. It’s all about winning … it’s all about each other and they feed on it.”'

'For years, Saban had been passed over, mostly at the insistence of late owner Ralph Wilson. Oddly, Wilson thought the world of Saban but didn’t want him added to the Wall because “he quit on me twice.”'
