'Manuel is maddening. He looks the part of an NFL quarterback with his size and his athleticism, but he just drives you crazy with his inaccuracy. It's a problem in team drills, for sure, but he even struggles to put the ball on the money in 7-on-7.'

'"Over the past several weeks the Bills organization has gathered information regarding the incident involving offensive line coach Aaron Kromer," Brandon said in a statement. "Today we have concluded our investigation and the Buffalo Bills will suspend coach Kromer without pay for the first six games of the 2015 NFL regular season. The suspension will begin on Monday, Sept. 7, 2015 and end with the conclusion of the Buffalo Bills vs. Cincinnati Bengals game on Oct. 18, 2015.'

''"We worked in conjunction with the NFL on this matter and we are highly supportive of the NFL Personal Conduct Policy that holds all NFL and club employees to a higher standard.'

"The problem was, so you know a bunch of us wanted to go watch the fight, thought the fight was going to be at like 10 o clock … fight didn't happen till like 1:30. '"Sammy can do everything," Rex Ryan said after practice Sunday. "Alright, so, I mean I've never seen it. I mean he literally lifted the guy up off his feet and was driven back like 10 yards. I've never seen it in all the years coaching, so that was impressive."'

'That's a significant step for Incognito, the eighth-year player who signed a one-year contract with Buffalo in February. He had been out of football since midway through the 2013 season, when he was suspended for being a central figure in a bullying scandal that led to offensive lineman Jonathan Martin leaving the Dolphins.'

'Bills President Russ Brandon announced the suspension Sunday night. The disciplinary action comes two days after prosecutors in Florida dropped a battery charge for causing bodily harm against Kromer for allegedly confronting two boys for using his beach chairs, pushing one to the ground and punching him in the face last month.'

'After the end of the suspension, Kromer will be eligible to join the team for its Oct. 25 game in London against the Jacksonville Jaguars.'

'Matt Cassel also worked with the first-unit and, although not great by any means, in 7-on-7 work he had a much better day than he did Friday and clearly was better than Manuel Saturday. Most of the throws Cassel connected on were of the short variety, however, but there were a few of those he fit into tight spots for his pass catchers. He was not nearly as sharp on deeper passes.'

'Once again, Corey Graham got first-team reps at safety over Duke Williams. After practice Rex Ryan said he wants to have Aaron Williams and Graham work together because Williams missed OTAs and minicamp and Graham is new to the position for this scheme. He wants them to get used to communication.'

'Assistant offensive line coach Kurt Anderson has been coaching the unit in Kromer’s absence.'

'Following Sunday's practice, Bills head coach Rex Ryan told reporters that Richie Incognito, the man in the middle of the bullying scandal in Miami in 2013, has been named the starter at left guard for the team. Ryan also said that Cordy Glenn had secured the starting left tackle position.'

'The Buffalo Bills are in the unenviable position to try and manufacture a starting quarterback out of a trio of players that really shouldn’t be starting options around the league. However, the Bills charged forward on Sunday, and third-year player EJ Manuel had a day he will want to forget.'

'“We installed a lot of ‘46’ stuff, that type of defense and when you do that a lot of mistakes usually happen on offense,” said head coach Rex Ryan. “That happened a little bit, but overall I was pleased with the effort.”'
