'“We may not have the elite of the elite at that position,” the Bills’ coach said Tuesday, after his team finished the first of its final three offseason practices in the ADPRO Sports Training Center. “But we have some good players at that spot and the competition, I think, is just going to bring them all up and that’s exactly what you want. And we’ll see what happens.”'

'Reed previously participated with the Kansas City Chiefs in 2013, but said he feels “a little more comfortable here.” “Nothing against Andy Reid and his staff, they welcomed me and I had a great time there,” he said. “But when you come somewhere where you played and you have some roots, it’s like you’re home.”'

'“Well I think he’s done extremely well,” Ryan said of Koaundjio. “We’ll see when the pads come on. I think he’s done about as good as you can do in the weight room, in the classroom, and carrying out over to these OTA’s, he’s done a tremendous job. '"I have a lot to give back to the game," said Reed. "I had a feeling I wanted to do something after I was done playing, but my kids were too small. But this is, this is about us and, you know, was I excited about that? Darn right I was man. Like come on in here and get a piece of this."'

'"The thing that I want to see is the obvious mistakes be eliminated by now, and they weren't," Ryan said. "Like today, we had some. I gave a couple of examples on offense, a couple of examples on defense. That's kind of what you're hoping what we'll ratchet out these next two days and hopefully we can start eliminating some of these what I see as obvious mistakes."'

'At 6-feet-2-inches tall and 302 pounds, Fluellen isn't a physical specimen, but he will add depth and competition to a defensive line that is in need of both. With Marcell Dareus suspended for the first game of the season, the Bills are moving some pieces around to find the best replacement.'

'While guard Chris Williams was back at One Bills Drive after missing the entirety of voluntary workouts, he did not participate in practice. Meanwhile, offensive tackle Seantrel Henderson missed the session because of a travel issues. Coach Rex Ryan said he had spoken to Henderson about it and that he expects him back on the field when the Bills practice Wednesday.'
