'Buchanan played in 18 career games with the New England Patriots after being drafted by the team in the seventh round (226 overall) of the 2013 NFL Draft out of the University of Illinois. Buchanan was released by New England on May 7, 2015. In his NFL career, he has produced 2.0 sacks and three tackles.'
