'On Tuesday, the case was resolved when Dareus, 25, pleaded guilty in Hamburg Town Court to non-criminal charges of imprudent speed and failure to keep right. He paid a $300 fine and agreed to host a free football camp for varsity football players from throughout Erie County.'

'"I just ask people to judge me off of what they see, which is what I did in New York," he said. "Me and Rex Ryan, we fell in love with each other. When I came here, they were excited to have me here. I don't look at the past, I just look at the future. Like I said, the world has yet to see me really explode like I'm about to."'

'Landry, a nine-year NFL veteran, has long been a favorite of Bills coach Rex Ryan, who has coached Landry since he came into the league with the Baltimore Ravens back in 2006. Landry spent five seasons with the Ravens before signing with the Jaguars in 2011. After two seasons in Jacksonville, Landry was released and reunited with Ryan in New York with the Jets.'

'Dareus also pledged to host a free football camp for Erie County high school players this summer. The plea discussions with the district attorney's office were held over the past month and resolved in writing last week.'

'As part of the plea agreement, all other charges were dropped. Dareus had been facing charges of reckless endangerment, reckless driving, unlawful speed and leaving the scene of an accident.'

'Landry is familiar with Rex Ryan's defense. He played for Ryan and new Bills defensive cordinator Dennis Thurman in New York as member of the Jets the past two seasons. Buffalo lost safety Da'Norris Searcy to Tennessee last month via free agency. They currently have Duke Williams, Jonathan Meeks, and Bacarri Rambo as options at safety opposite Aaron Williams.'

'“It means everything to me,” Williams said after the team’s first day of offseason conditioning Monday. I’ve had the opportunity to be here, to start my family here. I’ve got five kids now. It’s really a place that has a special place in my heart with me and my wife.”'

'Landry, 32, is very familiar with Bills head coach Rex Ryan and defensive coordinator Dennis Thurman. The strong safety played for the New York Jets each of the last two seasons under Ryan and Thurman making 30 starts posting back-to-back 100 tackles seasons with 2.5 sacks and an interception.'
