If he had come back and the Bills went 6-10 next season, that would likely be the end of his career as an NFL head coach. Instead, he’ll get paid $4 million by the Bills in 2015 and, because he left on a high note, he’ll likely have multiple new suitors. Marrone can interview wherever he wants this offseason, and if he doesn’t like any of his options, he can sit back, get paid and do it all again next year.’
