‘Its combined record in the final month of each season since 2000 is 21-35, including eight finishes of 1-3. If the Bills were a real estate agent, they’d be living in a cardboard box for all the deals they failed to close.’

Buffalo Bills OC Nathaniel Hackett says Sammy Watkins has to stop thinking so much
‘”Usually rookie wall comes across the board. I think it’s the fact that people are a little bit nervous about him. So I think they pay a lot more attention to him, and he’s not used to that. So when they put their best corner on him, these guys are good, they’re experienced guys. You put a guy like (Joe) Haden on him, that guy’s spectacular. I think it just presents different challenges for him. In the NFL, you have to work for every single catch. Every single yard you get. He’s learning that. I think he’s just going through a learning process. I would say it’s a rookie wall, but he’s probably working harder than he’s ever worked in the classroom out on the playing field doing everything, so he’s been great.”‘

Bills need Mile High Miracle to help end playoff drought
‘Orton and the Bills no doubt will be pumped up for this showdown. Too bad it’s against the league’s most prolific passer in a stadium where the Broncos are 6-0 this season.’
The wait was worth it for Bills DE Jerry Hughes
‘”Sitting there and watching, you definitely want to at some point in time kind of take what you’re learning and put it to some use,” Hughes said. “I was eager to get on the field, and join those guys and all the fun they were having playing on Sundays. I try not to lose sight of that, but doubt does creep in, because you don’t know what the next year might be like.”‘
5 things to watch for during Bills – Broncos
‘It’s not as cut and dry as some are making it out to be, but ultimately the Broncos have too strong of a total team to lose at home to the Bills. Buffalo’s defense will keep them in the game early, but eventually, the Bills offense won’t have enough firepower to keep up with the Denver offense. If the Denver defense weren’t as talented as they are, perhaps the Bills could keep it relatively close with the Broncos. They aren’t, and the quarterback play of Buffalo will likely hold them back from a victory on the road.’
Top 10 reasons the Bills-Broncos game has playoff implications
‘Broncos running backs coach Eric Studesville was the Bills offensive coordinator from 2004-08 and the running backs coach until 2010, during which time he helped to shape Fred Jackson into the back he is today.’
Bills’ defense is solid after 12 games
‘Kyle Orton has brought stability to the position, but he has yet to make a convincing case that he can lead this team to the playoffs.’

Bills, Lions and NFL Foundation donate $137,000 for disaster relief
‘Pledges of $50,000 each were made by Bills owners Kim and Terry Pegula, and the NFL Foundation. The foundation also raised $12,000 during its Text-to-Give program that ran during Buffalo’s game against the New York Jets on Nov. 24.’

Bills strength coach Eric Ciano recalls his time with Broncos WR Demaryius Thomas at Georgia Tech
‘”Everybody gave him that title that he was raw because of Paul Johnson’s offense, but shoot, he did a great job in that offense, had a lot of catches, had a great year,” Ciano said. “He was successful there even in that offense. He had one-on-one coverage all the time. He was a great player. No question about it. Extremely gifted, hard worker. I have nothing but praise for that kid.”‘
Mike Williams ruled out for Week 14; Sammy Watkins probable
‘Williams has been inactive three other times this season, though those weren’t injury related. He was practicing with the scout team this week, so there was a chance he wouldn’t have been in the Bills’ plans either way.’
Buffalo Bills playing meaningful game in December, and 5 things to watch in Week 14 against Broncos
‘Sammy Watkins had 105 receiving yards in the entire month of November. When asked whether Watkins has hit the rookie wall, Marrone simply responded, “I hope not.” The Bills have to hope, because Watkins has been their most dangerous offensive playmaker all season. If Buffalo is going to have any prayer of keeping pace with Manning and the Broncos, Watkins has to be break out of this funk.’
