‘Tannehill figured that out on the game’s first drive, when he deftly moved the offense down the field by attacking the soft perimeter of Buffalo’s secondary with precise outside throws and finding open receivers on slant routes.’

‘”We’ll have to see what we’re going to do with that,” Marrone said. “We’re in discussions there, meaning the roster spot and what goes on and where we put him as far as IR and things like that.”‘

‘I hate any punt executed on the other team’s side of the field, and my vitriol triples when it’s the second half and you’re losing. It’s dumb, it’s wimpy, and it shows no confidence in your team.’

‘My philosophy has always been, and I said this from the beginning, to make sure that I’m managing the game where I give our players the opportunity to win, where I don’t make decisions to take the game away from the players on that 4th and 6. It’s 4th and 6, we punt, we stop, you know what I’m saying, we get a score, whether it’s a field goal or a touchdown it’s still a two-score game with obviously three possessions each at least in the game with the timeouts and the two minute. I would find it hard pressed for anyone at that point in the game, knowing my colleagues in this league, to see who would have gone for it in that situation.’
