‘At this point, Kraig Urbik vs. Doug Legursky is the battle to watch. Neither has been great this preseason, but Legursky has struggled when given opportunities to play with the starters.’

Bon Jovi out of group bidding for Bills
‘”Rogers is very serious” about buying the team, another source close to the process said. There have been recent media reports about the Toronto bid falling apart – but in reality it is reforming, sources said.’

‘According to reports, the 31-year-old Orton signed a one-year contract to back up starter EJ Manuel. The Dallas Cowboys released Orton in the offseason after he threatened to retire.’
Bills unsure at quarterback heading into season
‘”Quarterbacks, especially young ones, are very streaky,” said Marrone, who is trying his best to defend his second-year starter, and did so after the last game by saying two of the four incompletions Manuel threw were quasi drops. “I thought that we had some good pockets at times where he was back there. I thought the two throws … are they catchable? I think they could have been. Could they have been better throws? I think it could’ve been both.”‘
Bills’ Watkins ”good to go,” per report

Bills 53-man roster projection: 8/29
‘The Bills’ quarterback position is nearly one of the worst in the league in terms of depth. Thad Lewis was a disappointment in the summer, Jeff Tuel hasn’t taken the next step the Bills were hoping for and Jordan Palmer didn’t show the necessary arm strength against backups to prove he was worthy of a roster spot. Even though the Bills might only keep two quarterbacks initially, don’t expect only Manuel and Tuel to make up this roster. There has to be an additional move coming, they can’t go into the season with their current trio, or in this case, duo.’
LS Garrison Sanborn signs extension with Bills
‘Sanborn has been the team’s primary long snapper for the past five seasons. The 6-1, 240-pound Florida State product has played in all 80 games since 2009.’
