‘To make room for Miller, the Bills released cornerback Michael Carter. Carter originally joined the Bills as a free agent in May.’

‘When in doubt, throw it up to Mike Williams. That seems to be part of EJ Manuel’s reasoning over the past couple of weeks. Williams has really stepped up his game over the past two weeks and is proving to be quite the dependable target for Manuel when they need some yards in a tough spot.’

‘”The true part of my game I’m really trying to work on is off the field and being a pro off the field,” said Williams. “Getting to meetings on time, reading my playbook, taking care of my body and really being on top of my game as far as everything off the field and everything on the field is going to take care of itself. It’s all about maturity. That’s the biggest leap for your first year to your second year.”‘

‘RB Boobie Dixon, continues to practice as if it’s still third and one with one yard for the score. Sunday in practice, Dixon wasn’t soaring through the air but ran the ball with a ferocity to make one think it was the playoffs, not the preseason.’

‘Miller spent time with the Bills earlier this year on a try-out basis during the team’s minicamp. The 5-10, 190 pound Florida International product played in nine games in 2013 during his senior season for the Panthers, recording 33 tackles and returning eight punts for 105 yards. Miller is 22 and a native of Miami, FL.’

‘”I’m always exploring potential business opportunities and I’m passionate about sports, so this is something that interested me,” Aquilini said in a prepared statement. “However, we are not planning to pursue the opportunity further.”‘

‘”There has been some ups and downs. The first couple of days it felt like I was newborn deer, basically. My legs felt funny,” Graham said. “Sometimes in and out of routes things feel weird, but I think I’m finally figuring out what works and what doesn’t work.”‘
